Last week our colleagues from the Western Access Program met at Yeoval Central School. Miss Natasha

Freeth and the 9/10 Food Technology class spoilt us with delicious catering for the day.

Congratulations to our Agricultural Team who won a lot of ribbons on Saturday at the Gulgong Show. I

thank Mr Ken Horley our Agriculture teacher who coordinated the excursion.

We have enrolled many new students this year, since the beginning of school. It is great to see our students welcome their new peers – Jeigo, Lance, Eric, Erin, Tegan, Sophie, Emma and Dominic. Mrs Nicole Bliss Principal

A message from the Principal

At Yeoval Central School we inspire all to be responsible, respectful learners. Working together to achieve and grow.

Creative Curriculum - Video Chef

This term in Creative Curriculum the students are taking part in creating a video tutorial to show others

how to make a chosen recipe. They have been busy analysing the steps of the recipe, deciding exactly

which steps need to be shown and story boarding their tutorial out, including different camera angles and

techniques. On Thursday they started putting their vision into motion with the filming of their tutorials. A

lot of problem solving and creative thinking has been involved to ensure their vision comes to life!

We look forward to sharing the finished tutorials with you at the end of the term.

Miss Natasha Freeth

Stage 5: HSIE

Find us on Facebook We are a member of the Western Access Program

Last Thursday Stage 5 HSIE researched different inventions during the Industrial Revolution. Students then

had to pitch their invention in a Shark Tank style competition. Some excellent presentations were made

which ended in a tie between two teams. Lucy and Paul then had one

more pitch against Lauren and Caleb. After a class vote Lauren and

Caleb were crowned the winners and given a novelty cheque for

$1,000,000. Well done to all students.
