funding pot under ‘Changing Lives Theme’ Distribute funding through 2 open grants

Small Grants Programme Two open grants rounds per year beginning

in April 2014 (next October 2014) Groups must be a registered charity, or a

voluntary or community organisation Turnover less than £300k, serving Hackney Projects must fit one priority funding area

1. Employment & Training Improve financial wellbeing through employment opportunities Give those who have lost their job the skills and resources to get back into work Engage those furthest from the job market & help into employment pathways Entrepreneurship, improve employability

2. Wellbeing & Inclusion

Bring people together through sports, social activities, cultural events & the arts Promote community participation Improve health and wellbeing Encourage social inclusion
