United Music Records Hong Kong Hallex M started Djing in clubs in 1996 and later worked simultaneously as an events promoter since 1998. Now as label owner of UNITED MUSIC RECORDS, he has successfully released over 50 tracks featuring artists like DJ Spen, Fudge, MKTL, Peven Everett, Jose Marquez, Djn Project, Filipe Narciso, Marlon D, Aaron Ross, Djeff Afrozila…., Hallex M is also the Co-Owner of U Entertainment which is a HK-based company specializing in booking artists, event management and consultation. As an International DJ, Producer and Remixer, Hallex M has played alongside greats such as Jazzy Jeff, Ultra Nate, Laurent Garnier, Bob Sinclar, Martin Solveig, Kenny Dope, Todd Terry, Jamie Lewis, Terry Hunter, Osunlade, Black Coffee, Derrick May, Spinna, Stephane Pompougnac, Sonny Fodera, The Martinez Brothers, Quentin Harris, Wayne Williams, Dixon, Josh Milan, Danny Krivit, Slick Rick, Spen & Karizma, Tony Touch, Liquid Deep, Cassius, Rocco, Nickodemus, Barbara Tucker, Kenny Bobien, Doc Martin, DJ Falcon, Ron Carroll, Paul Johnson, Eddie Amador… A true globetrotter, Hallex M’s appearances include the biggest clubbing destinations from Paris (Djoon Club, Barrio Latino, Grand Palais…), Tokyo (Womb Club), Monaco, New York (Cielo Club, Sullivan Room, Apt, Le Poisson Rouge…), Deauville (at Les Planches de Deauville for the film festival), Milan, Switzerland, Spain, Playa Del Carmen, Miami (Vagabond, Rokbar, Nikki Beach, Baoli…), Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Coachella, Boston, Philippines (Malasimbo Festival), Hong Kong, Thailand, London, Singapore (New Asia, Swissotel), Vietnam, Italy, Bordeaux to Las Vegas (Palms, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand...). Hallex M’s years of DJing led him into producing his own music in 2007. He experiences continued success with his track «Mi Casa» included on the Café Solaire vol. 18 compilation, mixed by Harley and Muscle, «The Tribal Zone» feat. Jocelyn Mathieu including the remixes from Dj Spen & N’Dinga Gaba, «Let’s Get It» featuring MR V and Miss Patty with the remixes of Ezel, Dj Yass… and again with «Simpatico» featuring the UK Soul singer Omar and Dj Fudge. Hallex M’s music is out on Jellybean Soul, Yoruba Records, Tribe Records, Sole Channel Music, Ssoh music, Melomania, Vida records, Cabana, Open-Bar Music, DiverseCityMusic, Stalwart, Juice Lucy, E.Merge, Atal Music, CliqueAMP, Wonderwheell ... Hallex M continues to produce quality music on his own as well as collaborating with other artists such as “UK Soul Legend” Omar, Peven Everett, Djeff Afrozila, Mr. V, Sunlightsquare, Fudge, Tasita D’Mour, Tony Loreto ... Hallex M began organizing events for the infamous Winter Music Conference, a music festival that has taken place in Miami every March for the last 25 years. Since 2008, his events have grown to become much anticipated every year by artists and fans alike varying from small underground locations to luxury clubs like Baoli, Nikki Beach, The Clevelander, Ocean’s Ten … Renowned Japanese airline ANA "All Nippon Airways" sought after Hallex M this year to use his track "Stirring Me Up (Journey Reprise)" featuring Lady Bird, on board their aircrafts for their travellers' listening pleasure. After relocating in 2011 from France, Hallex M was the music and e-marketing manager for Aqua Restaurant Group for three and a half years and is currently the Artistic Director for “Le Comptoir Group” Bibo Restaurant in Hong Kong.
