o BEETLE JUICE (PG) If you are looking for a ghost story and a good laugh, this is surely one for the whole family to see.

o THE HARRY POTTER SERIES (PG, PG-13) This incredible series of movies and books bring wizards and the supernatural to life. The eight-movie series varies in rating, so depending on which film you watch, it is important to look into ahead of time. Most are rated PG.
o THE ADDAMS FAMILY 1991 (PG-13) Based off of the 1964 television series, the family of ghouls comically interact with their human counterparts in hilarious situations.
o SCREAM (R) For those looking for a bit of a scare when the kids are away, this 1996 movie does just that.
o THE X FILES (PG-13) Based off of its TV series, the movie plays on everything we can’t help but love to watch: crime and extraterrestrials.
o HALLOWEEN (R) The original thriller came out in 1978, and is being remade with its lead actress, Jamie-Lee Curtis, this year! Of course, another one to watch while the kids are not around.
o THE CONJURING (R) A more modern horror from 2013 that investigates a family’s paranormal experiences at home (the scariest part is some of the plot is based on a true story).
o BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER (PG-13) A ‘90s classic about a teenage vampire hunter who takes on supernatural beings in her town.
