Halloween By Isabelle Lahaussois

A blanket of darkness enfolds the day, With the full moon shining softly.

The stars are twinkling, As if they are whispering to each other.

A scream of terror echoes through the night,

As the bats take flight. Houses become haunted,

With cobwebs covering every spot. Pumpkins are glowing,

From the inside out. Light is leaking through,

Their scary cut faces.

The sound of doorbells ring, As the giggling children,

Receive their sweets. Everyone is walking around,

Looking as if they were from a different world.

Everyone is thinking. Everyone is saying,

“Halloween is here!”
