DESCRIPTION Halo LED 900 Series Emergency Backup LED Modules are 120V LED downlights for Non-IC normal and emergency backup applications. The Halo LED ML7098xxT120DEM series modules are designed to provide Emergency lighting backup when used with H750TEM912 dedicated Non-IC housing that includes the LED Emergency Battery Backup Driver. The ML7098xxT120DEM series is designed for dimming capability in normal operation with 120V dimmers. Halo offers high quality downlighting with the high efficacy of LED – the result is great lighting and significant energy savings. MECHANICAL Heat Sink Upper Heat Sink • Durable extruded aluminum construction. • Conducts heat away from the LED keeping the junction temperatures below specified maximums. Lower Heat Sink • Durable die-cast aluminum construction. • Precision keyed bosses designed to lock with matching keyed slots in trim rings. • Works in conjunction with the upper heat sink for heat conduction away from the LED. MOUNTING Torsion Springs • Formed steel springs provide secure retention of the ML7 series of LED modules in 6” compatible housings with properly positioned and sized torsion bracket tabs. Compatibility • The ML7098xxT120DEM Series of LED modules are designed for use in the dedicated H750TEM912 Non-IC housing. The H750TEM912 includes emergency connection with the emergency battery backup LED driver installed on the housing. ELECTRICAL LED Module Connections Power: Halo LED module installs with a plug-in line voltage wiring connector (UL and CSA Listed Luminaire Disconnect). This non-screw-base connection preserves the high efficacy rating and prevents use of low efficacy sources. Note: ML7098xxT120DEM LED series normal power driver is 120V, and for emergency applications the LED Emergency Backup driver as installed on the H750TEM912 must also be operated 120V. Dimming: The ML7098xxT120DEM series is designed for dimming capability to 15% in normal operation with standard 120V LED-Rated, electronic low voltage, and many incandescent dimmers. The LED module may also dim to 5% using dimmers with low end trim adjustment. (Consult dimmer manufacturer for application/ compatibility. Note, some dimmers require a neutral in the wallbox).
