Note from Pastor
"What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’” -Mark 13:37
Josie, Holly and I watched and participated in the 9:30am and 11:00am worship services this past Sunday while we self-quarantined after experiencing some flu-like symptoms on Saturday. Sunday morning we got online and sang, prayed and heard a good sermon...and had fun interacting with others on the live feed during the service, whether highlighting parts of the message or applauding the Lord in the ministries of our musicians as they led us in the praise. Church is not canceled because one is feeling puny...therefore watch… participate...pray...sing unto the Lord for "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial" (James 1:12). The next time you are unable to worship in person, join online and write out your "Amen's", point out the highlights of the songs, prayers or sermon, and interact with your peers online. BTW...Holly and I both came up negative for the COVID-19. Praise the Lord! So we'll be back this Sunday in person. May God bless those who are experiencing COVID-19 themselves or with their family members. Lord, keep us healthy, keep us safe, and protect us from all evil in Christ. Amen! See you Sunday in the LORD!

HanukkahDecember 10-18, 2020
The Jewish celebration of Hanukkah commemorates the rededication during the second century B.C. of the Second Temple in Jerusalem, where according to legend Jews had revolted against their oppressors in the Maccabean Revolt.
Hanukkah, which means “dedication” in Hebrew and is often called the Festival of Lights, is celebrated with the
lighting of the menorah, traditional foods, games and gifts.
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?
-1 Corinthians 6:19
