HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! On behalf of the entire church, I want to wish all our precious mothers a “Happy Mother’s Day”! I also want to remind every woman of faith that you are so valuable to God, to the cause of Christ, to this church, and to each of us! We love you, respect you, and are blessed by your life, prayer-life, faith, friendship, sacrifice, service, and example. We love you with the love of the Lord and we honor you today. We bid God-speed to Danny and Nancy Smelser who will be leaving tomorrow for Tanzania. Aren’t you grateful for their faith, friendship, sacrifice, and commitment to sharing the Good News, as they use their gifts in the name of the Great Physician to help heal the whole man? I am grateful for them and our partnership with them! The JohnOubre4Antigua golf tournament was a fabulous success! I appreciate the Henderson family, and each of you, who have given generously and worked hard to raise funds to support the Killen and Lambert families living and working in Antigua for seven weeks this summer. Speaking of Antigua, we have 93 going there this summer on our family mission trip. Each of them sacrifice financially and give of their time to go. I am humbled by all the behind the scenes things that I continually hear about, where people from this church are giving or doing things to help Cross Point members be able to go. I echo what the Apostle Paul said to his sweetheart church in Philippi: “I thank my God every time I remember you… I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” I love you all! Frank
