Based on the strong foundation formed by two leading suppliers of hydraulics, Bosch AT and Mannesmann Rexroth, the whole will soon equal more than the sum of its individual parts. Bosch Rexroth AG will offer a harmonized and comprehensive product range of standard control valves for industrial hydraulics in the near future. We have developed a „best-in-class“ product portfolio from parallel product lines, which integrates our proven directional, pressure control, flow control, isolator and check valves with state-of-the-art technology.

In this catalog, we present a comparison of previous and new products. To aid and assist with future product selections, we can offer individual, advisory service to guide our customers toward Rexroth components which may best suit your application.

To promote continuity, a harmonization period through the end of 2006 should provide a smooth transition toward the new Bosch Rexroth portfolio and application of efficient, standard control valves by Rexroth. This notification does not include electro-hydraulic products from Bosch Rexroth..

In the case of some individual products, or variant cases, the transition period may be shorter; however, timely notification and cooperation with our customers will be utilized, to find optimum solutions for specific applications.

General information

The following sections contain the product families from both the Bosch AT productrange and the comparable variant from the existing Rexroth product range arranged on facing pages.Specifications and general technical differences determined by technical productcomparisons are explained. Dependant upon the application, critical differences may arise, which may make it difficult, if not impossible, to use the referenced substitute. Because of the wide range of applications around the globe, it would not be possible for us to investigate every type of application for 100% compatibility. This is the responsibility of the relevant system engineers and may require evaluation models to validate the substitute in these critical applications. In these situations, Rexroth remains ready to assist, provide support, and work towards the most suitable solution for your application.

< Valve dimensions generally refer to the porting pattern, not envelope dimensions.Please review specifications in both the Rexroth datasheets and the corresponding Bosch AT catalogues to compare any critical the installation dimensions based upon application criteria or utilization.

< Production information on 2-way cartridge valves (logics):A combination of Bosch AT valve insert (cartridge) and Rexroth valve cover is possible forstandard versions.

< Product information on valves with position monitoring (limit switch):All monitored direct-operated and pilot operated valves have been revised toward the Rexroth standard control valve range. The valves have been revised to incor-porate larger coverage in the center position, as required by Trade Associations. Valves with microswitches and Reed switches will be discontinued by the end of 2006 and replaced by inductive switch solutions.

< Structure the harmonization:– The goal is to achieve a continuous decrease in the Bosch AT standard control

valve consumption through the end of 2006.– We recommend the harmonization of products to be implemented ideally on a

project or application-related basis.– For new projects, select the relevant preferred products in accordance with our

current product range (program information RE 00208).
