TCourse Description
he greatest challenge we face today is stayingcurrent with the rapid advances in laser & aesthetic skintherapy. Our patients demand for such services hasresulted in the need for physicians to be better educatedand trained on safe and effective practices. Few meetingsexist for those who practice laser and aesthetic skintherapies that are not sponsored by industry. The courseobjectives will emphasize new techniques andtechnologies while also critically evaluating currenttreatment practices, free of commercial interference fromindustry. Clinical endpoints and laser safety will beemphasized as well.
Participants will leave the course understanding newtreatment paradigms with lasers, embrace emergingtechnologies such as non-invasive treatment of fat andunderstand why some of the current practices areirrational or based upon weak evidence. This will be acritical, well-informed, clinically relevant course. Properpatient evaluation and proper aesthetic techniques will beemphasized.The information will be presented by oursenior faculty and clinicians as lectures, workshops,panels, and questions and discussion. The use of theAudience Response System will also be incorporated intomany sessions.
