Haupt Charitable Trust. A site of regional, national, horticultural, and historic significance, River Farm was part of George Washington’s original five farms. Today, the property is both an urban green sanctuary for visitors and a national platform from which to promote horticultural innovation, experimentation, and conservation. As a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit, we rely entirely on membership dues, charitable contributions, and earned revenue to support our ongoing operations. Proceeds raised from the Gala will support the stewardship of River Farm and the Society’s educational and outreach programs.
