Mathias ThamhainMathias has been involved in the wind energy industry for 10 years, and held senior management positions with leading industry and consultancy firms. He specialized in business development as well as project, technology and industry assessment, and has developed his activities in projects in Europe and South America. His track record includes the supervision of R&D, sales, project management and service teams, the accreditation of a quality system for a independent laboratory and the general management of country subsidiaries. He gained specific knowledge in structuring, risk assessing and negotiating EPC contracts, as well as lender’s direct agreements; and he presented and taught various technical and commercial topics focusing on wind energy themes (both in-house and external seminars).
Mathias is auditor of quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025) and working group member in the TC 88 of the IEC.
