Future Plans: Enlisting in the navy as S.W.C.C. Which is a special forces group just like the navy seals Favorite Quote: “The greatest risk is not taking one. " Best Moment in Band: It's hard but my best band memory was all the events that occurred in the San Fran trip including my clogged toilet that flooded out

the hotel room. Thanks and Appreciation: It's hard to sum up everything in a few sentences. So to get everybody. Thank you to all who have helped me progress as a musician throughout my high school years! I couldn't have done any of this without you! Words of Advice for Underclassmen: Take advantage of all opportunities that come your way.

Thanks and Appreciation: Thanks to those who support the band and me personally, its greatly appreciated to have someone just sitting there cheering you on. Favorite Quote: “When words fail, music speaks.” Best Moment in Band: There have been so many amazing moments but I think my favorite was the day we had Brian and Marissa as substitute instructors. Enough said. Thanks and Appreciation: Thank you to the girls who convinced me to join band, it was the best favor you could have done for me. Thank you to Mr. Arena not only for instructing me on the horn and being an all around amazing director, but for

Best Moment in Band: About 30 minutes into a 10 hour bus ride to wonderful Cleveland, Tom Barnes and I texted Mr. Arena, "Are we there yet?" "No no." "...You sure?" Now he will know who it was. Thanks and Appreciation: Thanks Mr. Arena and Mr. Koenig for putting up with our shenanigans. We will be the reason for your future baldness, and we do sincerely apologize for that. Words of Advice for Underclassmen: When life gives you lemons, make lemonade or open a lemon stand or something, don't just sit there in a pile of lemons!

Olivia Justice Years in Marching Band: 2 Years in Colorguard: 2 Future Plans: Berkeley College for Criminal Justice and Management Best Moment in Band: The flashmob at Cherokee. Thanks and Appreciation: Thanks to my mom for putting up with me and marching band. Thanks to Mr. Arena and Mr. Koenig for the seasons I had them as band directors. Best Moment in Band: The best moment in Marching Band happened at Nationals right after The Dark Knight show's last performance. The feeling of having that "perfect" show was one I will never forget. Thanks and Appreciation: I would like to thank my Mom, Dad, and my sister, Amy for always being there and for driving me all over the East Coast for my musical adventures. I'd also like to thank Mr. Arena and Mr. Koenig for guiding me through the musical experience. Lastly, many thanks to my private teacher, Robert Fox, for keeping me on my toes and making me the musician I am today. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend." - Albert Camus.” Best Moment in Band: Nationals at Metlife Stadium in 2012. Ballas Years in Concert Band: 4 Years in Marching Band: 5 Years in Jazz Band: 3 Years in Pep Band: 5 Additional Activities/Clubs: NHS, Peer Tutoring, Boy Scouts Instruments Played: Clarinet, Alto/Tenor/Baritone Saxophone Leadership Positions in Band: The Clarinet/Saxophone Section's Lead "Motivational" Speaker Future Plans: Something involving the environment and the government that won't lead to me chaining myself to trees to stop the lumber industry. Favorite Quote: “If you're not failing every now and again, it's a sign you're not doing anything very innovative.” - Woody Allen.” Best Moment in Band: The various Wawa/McDonalds/Dollar Store expeditions during Band Camp, football games and competition days. Thanks and Appreciation: Foremost, thank you to my many friends, and to my section, who made band enjoyable throughout the years. Also, thank you to the band teachers I have had, particularly Mr. Leiby and Mr. White, who have made music an artform that I have come to cherish, appreciate and enjoy. When I pull them apart, air rushes in and makes a sound not unlike that of flatulence. Additional Activities/Clubs: Track & Field, World Language Club, Art Club, Chess Club, Super Smash Bros. Club Instruments Played: Trumpet

Leadership Positions in Band: Principal Trumpet, High Brass Section Leader Future Plans: Rutgers Camden Favorite Quote: “We're gonna rattle this ghost town…" (Walk the Moon) Best Moment in Band: Band Camp '10. Jake launched me ten feet into the air in the midst of a drill duel. Thanks and Appreciation: The form that I am filling out says that my remarks in this section cannot exceed three sentences. Unfortunately, three sentences cannot possibly express the amount of appreciation I have for the people I have met through this organization. They changed my life entirely. Words of Advice for Underclassmen: Keep your instrument close, but your Gameboy closer.

Alma Valeria Albarran Martinez Years in Marching Band: 5 Years in Colorguard: 5 Music Related Activities: HHS Spring Musical Additional Activities/Clubs: Yearbook, Peer tutoring, Renaissance club, Spring Musical, Morning Announcements, NHS, Senior Class Committee, S.A.D.D club Leadership Positions in Band: Color Guard Captain Future Plans: Marketing Major Favorite Quote: "You only have one life, so why mistake it as something negative?"~"Breathe In, Breathe Out" by Set It Off.” Best Moment in Band: During my first year, Video game year, we played a standstill of our show at half time in the pouring rain. The away band cheered us on the entire time, and we all ended soaking wet afterwards. We all pushed through it to finish the show despite the conditions we were performing in. Thanks and Appreciation: Band has been a huge part of my life, and I want to thank everyone in band and guard that made my five years enjoyable and worthwhile. Guard is very important to me; my instructors always encouraged me to keep pushing myself, and I'm really thankful for that as well. Words of Advice for Underclassmen: Keep practicing; there's always room for improvement!

Thanks and Appreciation: Primarily I would like to thank my friends and family who are always there for me. I'd also like to thank God for blessing me in every way he has. Without them I would not be where I am. Words of Advice for Underclassmen: Fail with pride

Additional Activities/Clubs: Chess club, HHS play Instruments Played: Bass Drum, Synthesizer Future Plans: I'm not sure where I'm going as of now, but I want to study education and/or music. Favorite Quote: “Luke, don't lick that".” Best Moment in Band: There are more great times than I can write, I loved being part of the family. Thanks and Appreciation: Mr. Arena and Mr. Koenig really inspired me to pursue my career in music, I'd like to do what they do one day. Thanks guys! PS: I love you Mr Koenig! Favorite Quote: "If you hear music, dance.” Best Moment in Band: My favorite moment was when the band went to Nationals and I got to watch them perform to their greatest ability and lend a helping hand with the technical things.
