What is the right college and when is the right time to go to college? More and more students are looking for colleges that offer flexibility, online courses and programs, and a year-round system to finish school in a shorter period of time. Also, the best time to start college is right now! A college degree opens doors, and is really necessary for success in today’s world. Hopefully, the college you choose offers career assistance so that you have the opportunity not only to get a better job, but also to make more money. In Utah, Stevens-Henager College is an example of a school that provides all of these types of benefits:

• Fast-Track Programs: You can earn an Associate’s degree in as little as 15 months, or a Bachelor’s degree in as little as 30 months. Earn degrees in business, graphic design, medical specialties, or computer technology. While students in other colleges are still in class, you could have your degree, be working, and making money.

• Flexibility and Convenience: You don’t have to wait for the beginning of a year or semester to enroll. Flexible course options enable you to get started this month in day, evening, or online classes so you can continue working while going to college.

• Certifications/Licenses and a Degree: Certifications can mean more money, and a degree commands respect, lasts a lifetime, and is important for promotions. You can get a degree and prepare for certifications at Stevens-Henager College. Why settle for less?

• High-Value Programs: The programs at Stevens-Henager College are packed with career-specific knowledge and skills. Multiple skills are taught in each program, which gives students many more career opportunities.

• Employment Services: One of the best reasons for choosing Stevens-Henager College is that employment assistance is provided to graduates. The Career Services staff assists you in résumé writing, finding exciting jobs, setting up interviews, and practicing for the interviews, including what to say and even how to dress.

More and more students are recognizing that Stevens-Henager College may be the right college and that the right time is now. Stevens-Henager College is a small college that has been around since 1891. For more information about this college call 1-800-392-4903. It’s the right thing to do.

Mad Dog Cycles plays a supporting role in NICA Utah Mountain Biking.

Mad Dog Cycles strives to involve people of all ages in cycling. We love riding bikes, and our hope is that we can help other people find out that they love to ride bikes too! One way we do that is our support of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). NICA’s mission is to develop high school mountain biking programs across the United States and to help high school age riders of all abilities develop their skills along with their character.

We encourage youth and parents, as well as those who would like to volunteer in some capacity to contact Keith Payne, the Mad Dog Cycles Race Team directer, to find out how they can become involved with NICA, be it racing, coaching, or providing support. His email address is [email protected].

I knew it was more than just learning about hair, it was learning about showing compassion & love.

I came to Evans because it is very family oriented.

I really like how caring everyone is here and how compassionate they are.

Fun and friendly environment. Everyone here is always willing to work with you.

I wanted to come to Evans Hairstyling College because of all the good things I had heard about it.

I hope to graduate from Evans with not only life skills and cosmetology skills but memories of all the trials, accomplishments and friends.

What I like best; there is a good atmosphere, daily motivation and inspiration.

Something that made me want to come to school here was because of the pay-it-forward philosophy. Service has been a large part of my life and that’s what Miss Evans focuses on.

When I walked into Evans it just felt like home. Everyone is friendly and fun.

Hands-on experience starting the first week.

The energy here is great.

We do a lot of fun things during the holidays.

With the help of UVU faculty and resources such as the Entrepreneurship Institute, the two students made a successful pitch on the hit ABC show “Shark Tank” and landed a deal with famous investor Mark Cuban.

Applying classroom lessons in real-world context like this is called “engaged learning,” and it’s what sets UVU apart. Whether pursuing a certificate, associate, bachelor’s or master’s, UVU graduates are better prepared to make an immediate impact in their chosen field. Enroll now to start your engaged learning experience.

Or, if you need to put off school for a couple of years, apply now and enroll later (it’s called deferred admission). Learn more at uvu.edu/engage.

THE QUARRY IS A GREAT PLACE TO BRING A DATE!

THE QUARRY opened it’s doors in 2000 with nearly 13,000 feet of wall space—in a facility built from the ground up by climbers—designed for comfort and convenience while rock climbing indoors. We take pride in our friendly atmosphere and like to boast of the gym’s cleanliness. Everyone is welcome—from the inexperienced to seasoned veterans—we have many routes for all levels of climbing ability. Let’s face it: climbing can be intimidating, but we’ve fostered a social climate at The Quarry that’s non-threatening for everyone. Our staff is psyched about climbing and devoted to ensuring everyone has a great time. It’s the place to bring friends, make friends, find climbing partners, or hang out with other free-spirited adventure seekers.
