SituationHigher Tregawne is situated at the head of the Ruthern Valley in a stunning location with far reaching views over sweeping agricultural land. The market town of Wadebridge, home to the Royal Cornwall Showground and gateway to Padstow and Rock is approximately 4 miles away. The historic city of Truro 22 miles. Both have an excellent range of educational, cultural, recreational and shopping facilities.

Wadebridge is a thriving riverside market town in a renowned agricultural and holiday area with supermarkets, popular restaurants and pubs as well as the Camel trail to Padstow. It also has an iconic Cinema held in private ownership for 80 years.

The fishing port of Padstow has been made popular by celebrity chefs and now boasts a vibrant selection of restaurants and pubs. Padstow hosts many events throughout the year including the annual “Obby Oss Festival”. Regular ferryboat services are available to Rock.

The North coast villages of Rock, Polzeath and Port Isaac continue to be desirable retreats with Michelin starred restaurants and exclusive hotels. Various television series including Doc Martin have been based in these seaside villages.

The historic naval port of Plymouth is 40 miles away. The port has regular cross-Channel ferry services to Brittany and northern Spain.

Bodmin Parkway is 10 miles away with express train services to both London Paddington (4 hours), Birmingham and the North.

Newquay international airport is 16 miles away providing three daily flights to London Gatwick. The A30 is approximately 4 miles from Higher Tregawne with dual carriageway access to Truro and West Cornwall in one direction and Exeter and the M5 motorway in the other.
