Houston Building and Health Codes. N.S.F. approved sinks will measure no more than 30" front
to back by 111" left to right; with compartments measuring no less than 26.5" front to back by
24" left to right (i.d.) by no less than 14" deep (measured from base of well to highest fill level
in each compartment, unless otherwise specified). Each compartment will be separated from
the next compartment by a 2" wall separation. Drain board may be no smaller than the smallest
horizontal dimension of the sink compartments and is to be mounted on the left or right side as
indicated for each specific job.
II. MATERIALS
Sink compartments, drain boards and back splash will be constructed of 14 gauge number 304
(18-9) stainless steel; stainless steel welded, ground and polished to a number 4 type finish.
Legs, braces and cross rails will be on stainless steel tubing at least 1.5" in diameter. Gussets
and adjustable bullet feet will be of stainless steel. Removable under shelving will be of 16
gauge No. 302 stainless steel finished to a number 4 finish. Each will be provided with a finger
