Introduction: Communication is the basis of our lives and we would in this day and age, be handicapped without it. Everyday we are communicating with each other in some way or another, be it by using words, actions or even expressions in conveying a message. We humans depend not only on face-to-face communication but the kind that brings technology to the fore to bridge that gap between people by mere seconds across vast distances.
We take a look briefly into what are the major types of communication, along with their importance. Communication as you can see, is an important factor that governs our everyday lives. What is needed most is the effectiveness of how we communicate, which is often misinterpreted. In order to pass a message along in its entirety without jumbling up its core meaning, it is wise to always review what is being sent, and think beforehand about what is right to say when put into words
IN THE 5TH CENTURY, LETTERS AND DOCUMENTS COULD BE SENT BY USING PIGEONS’ HOMING ABILITIES.
Pigeons were trained by being removed from their homes and taken to a destination, from which they would returned home.
Early modes of communication
The first communication techniques implemented :
• Smoke signals
• Torch signals
• Flashing mirrorsEvolutions
Observation stations were build on hilltop to relay these messages over long distances
One of the NSA’s observatory station at Teufelsberg
These networks were replaced by telegraph network invented by “sameul morse”
1838
Morse code machine International morse code
Marconi-Radio ability-first wireless telegraphy
1897
Apparatus used to send one way signals
By 19th century :- Alexander graham bell telephone invention
Alexander Graham Bell, who patented the telephone, inaugurating the 1,520-km telephone line.
Working model
1950’s – 60’s centuryAT and T bell labs and other communication companies developed the theory of cellular radio telephony
20th century :-After the invention of mobile phones till 20th century mobile were made to access only for voice and sms usage.
21st century :-SMART PHONES were biggest evolution created in the tele-communications
conclusion :-We have seen a drastic changeover in communicational technologies and in our life styles too. There is no point in that, it doesn’t take much time for us to convert from 4G to 5G and much more advanced.Only the thing is how ethically we are perfectly synchronised with the technology in our livelihoods.
