Senior Citizen Delivery Overwhelming Success
Thank you everyone who helped with the adoption of
our 6 Senior families! Christmas happiness definitely
was delivered! With the addition of the collection plate
money from the monthly meeting, we were able to get
hamburger, eggs, cheese, biscuits, bread, buns,
bananas, hot chocolate, fruit snacks, snowballs, &
HoHo's (Santa's favorite snack) to deliver with all the
canned goods and wrapped gifts. Earl & Bonnie said
Christmas only came because of us and oh would
they sleep in comfort! Laura said she was never so
blessed and what good fortune she felt since this was
their first Christmas since Skeets (her husband) went
to heaven. Mary said we were motorcycle angels two
years in a row - she wouldn't open her gifts until
Christmas morning since these were the only ones
she would have. Tommy said he didn't deserve such
a wonderful coat, seemed amazed to get fresh meat &
said Santa would have to race him for the HoHo's!
Sara & Jennifer were so excited they must have
opened their gifts right after we left we were barely
home when they called to say thanks for all they
received. Dorothy and her family were just amazed.
When we were carrying the boxes up the stairs, her
granddaughter hollered: “Wow, we get Lays potato
chips!” They had a tree, what we brought were the
first wrapped gifts to go under it.
We did a wonderful thing guys and gals thank you all,
each and every person who gave a can or a sack!
And thanks to Dan & Paula Alefs for matching our
club fund donation. Thanks to the special angels that
gave the extras & to Bev Smiley for helping wrap the
gifts and deliver in the snow. We had so much, we
had to make 3 trips in her Suburban! Thanks for
making so many happy folks!Bobbie p.s. Wouldn't it be fun to deliver a Valentine to them?!

Chapter Christmas PartyShelter #1 at Lake Afton was the gathering place for this year’s Chapter Christmas party. We were welcomed by a crackling fire in the fireplace and Christmas music on the stereo. There was a great meal from Hog Wild with plenty of extra food and great apple, peach and cherry struddle for dessert. The evening was capped off with the drawing for some great door prizes provided by our sponsoring dealer, Alefs Harley Davidson. The highlight of the evening was the matching “special purpose” shirts won by Frank Charles Senior and Junior. Another great party by our Activity Officers, Karen Peppard and Frank Charles Jr. with the help of their spouses, Paul Peppard and Bev Charles.

The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.
We don’t care what you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a "hawk" or a "dove". It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where you’re from or what your income is. You don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.
1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Protect the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.
We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.
