For families who will have a child preparing for the
sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist in 2016/17;
the preparation time for these sacraments begins in
the first grade. We would like to be able to provide an
opportunity for all our children to have a spot held
for them. Parents are asked to

If You Build It, They Will Thrive….Spiritually
The Field of Love – the extended family, community, teachers, and friends who deeply shape our children’s lives –
provides for a spiritually grounded childhood in three basic ways:
1. It creates an intentional road of inclusion. There is more love, more people with whom to connect- more lifelong,
meaningful attachments. 2. It creates an affirmative, inspired space- one where events unfold in a loving environment.
Love grows exponentially, and creates what Dr. Miller calls ‘the realm of miracles’. 3. This realm of miracles extends
throughout myriad combinations of individuals and circumstances. Children learn the values of commitment, forgiveness,
and compassion within the interwoven relationships of this Field of Love.
Finally, the togetherness of the field of love is good for us biologically speaking. Research proves that suffering is
lighter when we are bonded together. In fact, people live longer in communities that offer regular spiritual social support.
~Lisa Miller PH. D., author of The Spiritual Child, New York: St. Martin’s Press, 2015.
Online registration for next year’s PSR classes has be-
gun. If you did not receive an email about this and would

address. PSR begins Monday and Tuesday August 22 and
23. Registration begins at 5:30, Rally at 6:00 p.m.
