Pre-Service Songs
1 In a manger long ago,
and I know it was really so, a Man was born to save men from sins.
John saw Him on the shore, a Lamb for evermore.
The Christ they crucified on Calvary.
Refrain: Oh, I love that Man from Galilee
for He has done so very much for me. He has taken all my sins,
put the Holy Ghost within. Oh, I love that Man,
that Man from Galilee
2 The lame were made to walk; the dumb were made to talk
the word was spoken with power on that day.
The blind were made to see, and I knew it could only be,
3 Nicodemus came by night to find the way of right.
He asked the Blessed Lord what he could.
These words were said to him, “Ye must be born again
by the Spirit of the Man of Galilee. Refrain

The First Lesson A Reading from the First Book of Kings [17:8-16]
The Word of the LORD came to Elijah, saying, "Go now to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and live there; for I have commanded a widow there to feed you." So he set out and went to Zarephath. When he came to the gate of the town, a widow was there gathering sticks; he called to her and said, "Bring me a little water in a vessel, so that I may drink." As she was going to bring it, he called to her and said, "Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand." But she said, "As the LORD Your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of meal in a jar, and a little oil in a jug; I am now gathering a couple of sticks, so that I may go home and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die." Elijah said to her, "Do not be afraid; go and do as you have said; but first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterwards make something for yourself and your son. For thus says the LORD the God of Israel: The jar of meal will not be emptied and the jug of oil will not fail until the day that the LORD sends rain on the earth." She went and did as Elijah said, so that she as well as he and her household ate for many days. The jar of meal was not emptied, neither did the jug of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD that He spoke by Elijah. Reader: The Word of the Lord. People: Thanks be to God.
Psalm 146
1 Hallelujah! Praise the LORD, O my soul! I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
2 Put not your trust in rulers, nor in any child of earth,
for there is no help in them. 3 When they breathe their last, they return to earth,
and in that day their thoughts perish.
4 Happy are they who have the God of Jacob for their help! whose hope is in the LORD their God;
5 Who made heaven and earth, the seas, and all that is in them; who keeps his promise for
ever;
6
6 Who gives justice to those who are oppressed, and food to those who hunger.
7 The LORD sets the prisoners free; the LORD opens the eyes of the blind; the LORD lifts
up those who are bowed down; 8 The LORD loves the righteous; the LORD cares for the stranger; he sustains the orphan
and widow, but frustrates the way of the wicked. 9 The LORD shall reign for ever, your God, O Zion, throughout all generations.
Hallelujah!
The Second Lesson A Reading from the Letter to the Hebrews 9:24-28
Christ did not enter a sanctuary made by human hands, a mere copy of the true one, but He entered into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. Nor was it to offer Himself again and again, as the high priest enters the Holy Place year after year with blood that is not his own; for then He would have had to suffer again and again since the foundation of the world. But as it is, He has appeared once for all at the end of the age to remove sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And just as it is appointed for mortals to die once, and after that the judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him. Reader: The Word of the Lord. People: Thanks be to God.
The Holy Gospel
Gospeller: The Holy Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to Mark 12:38-44. People: Glory to You, Lord Christ. Teaching in the temple, Jesus said, "Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes, and to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces, and to have the best seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets! They devour widows' houses and for the sake of appearance say long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation." He sat down opposite the treasury, and watched the crowd putting money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which are worth a penny. Then He called His

The Sermon
The Nicene Creed
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father.
Through Him all things were made. For us and for our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit
He became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made Man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
He suffered death and was buried.
On the third day He rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

The Blessing of a Ramp for the Physically Challenged
The Salutation Celebrant: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. People: Amen.
Celebrant: May the God Whom we glorify with one heart and voice enable us, through the Spirit, to live in harmony as followers of Christ Jesus, now and for ever.
People: Amen. The Introductory Rite Celebrant: The Lord Jesus, Who went about doing good works and healing sickness and
infirmity of every kind, commanded His disciples to care for the infirmed, to pray for them and to lay hands on them. As we dedicate this ramp to be used by those who are physically challenged, let us also entrust our brothers and sisters who are infirmed to the care of God, asking that He will enable them to bear their pain and suffering in the knowledge that, if they accept their share in the pain of His own passion, they will also share in its power to give comfort and strength.
The Reading A Reading from the Second Letter of Paul to the Church at Corinth [1:3-7]
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation, who consoles us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction with the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ. If we are being afflicted, it is for Your consolation and salvation; if we are being consoled, it is for Your consolation, which You experience when You patiently endure the same sufferings that we are also suffering. Our hope for You is unshaken; for we know that as You share in our sufferings, so also You share in our consolation.

Someday, someday, I'll go where Jesus is Someday, someday, I'll go where Jesus is Someday, someday, I'll go where Jesus is
I shall be caught up to meet Him Caught up to meet Him
Caught up to meet him in the air
I shall be caught up to meet Him Caught up to greet Him
Joy and happiness, peace is mine Tell the story way up in Glory
Caught up to meet Him in the air.
To God be the Glory
1 To God be the glory
great things He hath done! So loved He the world
that He gave us His Son, Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
and opened the life-gate that all may go in.
Refrain
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice! O come to the Father
thru Jesus the Son, and give Him the glory
great things He hath done!
2 O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
to every believer the promise of God;
the vilest offender who truly believes,
that moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Refrain 3
Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
and great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son; but purer, and higher,
and greater will be our wonder, our transport,
when Jesus we see. Refrain

Love Lifted Me
I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore, very deeply stained within,
sinking to rise no more; but the Master of the sea heard my despairing cry, from the waters lifted me
now safe am I.
Refrain: Love lifted me, love lifted me, when nothing else could help,
love lifted me. Alleluia! Love lifted me, love lifted me, when nothing else could help,
love lifted me.
All my heart to Him I give, ever to Him I’ll cling,
in His blessed presence live, ever His praises sing.
Love so mighty and so true merits my soul’s best songs; faithful, loving service, too,
to Him belongs. Refrain
Souls in danger, look above, Jesus completely saves;
He will lift you by His love out of the angry waves;
He’s the Master of the sea, billows His will obey;
He your Savior wants to be be saved today. Refrain

Birthday & Anniversary Blessing
The Blessing
The National Anthem
O say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
whose broad stripes and bright stars,
through the perilous fight, o'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
O say does that star-spangled
banner yet wave o'er the land of the free
and the home of the brave?

THE LITURGY OF THE TABLE Eucharistic Prayer 2
Celebrant: God be with you. People: And also with you. Celebrant: Lift up your hearts. People: We lift them to the Lord. Celebrant: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. People: It is right to give our thanks and praise. Celebrant: We praise you and we bless you, holy and gracious God, source of life abundant. From before time you made ready the creation. Your Spirit moved over the deep and brought all things into being: sun, moon, and stars; earth, winds, and waters; and every living thing. You made us in your image, and taught us to walk in your ways. But we rebelled against you, and wandered far away; and yet, as a mother cares for her children, you would not forget us. Time and again you called us to live in the fullness of your love. And so this day we join with Saints and Angels in the chorus of praise that rings through eternity, lifting our voices to magnify you as we sing (say): Celebrant and People Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of Your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is the One Who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. The Celebrant continues Glory and honor and praise to you, holy and living God. To deliver us from the power of sin and death and to reveal the riches of your grace, you looked with favor upon Mary, your willing servant, that she might conceive and bear a son, Jesus the holy child of God. Living among us, Jesus loved us. He broke bread with outcasts and sinners, healed the sick, and proclaimed good news to the poor. He yearned to draw all the world to himself yet we were heedless of his call to walk in love. Then, the time came for him to complete upon the cross the sacrifice of his life, and to be glorified by you. On the night before he died for us, Jesus was at table with his friends. He took bread, gave thanks to you, broke it, and gave it to them, and said: “Take, eat: This is my Body, which is given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me.” As supper was ending, Jesus took the cup of wine. Again, he gave thanks to you, gave it to them, and said: “Drink this, all of you: This is my Blood of the new Covenant, which is poured out for you and for all for the forgiveness of sins. Whenever you drink it, do this for the remembrance of me.” Now gathered at your table, O God of all creation, and remembering Christ, crucified and risen, who was and is and is to come, we offer to you our gifts of bread and wine, and ourselves, a living sacrifice.
14
Pour out your Spirit upon these gifts that they may be the Body and Blood of Christ. Breathe your Spirit over the whole earth and make us your new creation, the Body of Christ given for the world you have made. In the fullness of time bring us, with [___________ and] all your saints, from every tribe and language and people and nation, to feast at the banquet prepared from the foundation of the world. Through Christ and with Christ and in Christ, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, to you be honor, glory, and praise, for ever and ever. AMEN.
