18.8%)• On entry in Nursery, 54% children

were below the age related expectations of physical development.

• Became a Centre of Excellence this year.

How did we become a Centre of Excellence?

A proven physical intervention programme which has a significant impact on children’s

academic and physical development.

Our Journey

Identified a need for an intervention programme to:

• Develop stamina and co-ordination• Improve core stability• Develop motor skills

• Children attend daily before school.• Sessions are planned tailored to

children’s specific needs.
