HORROR- SUB GENRESA genre s a specific style of music, literature, film etc. However a sub genre incorporates aspects of a less dominant genre. Examples of horror sub genres are action horror, comedy horror, science fiction horror, Slasher films and gothic horror.

ACTION HORROR

This category combines both action and horror elements. Features of this genre are supernatural activity or elements of evil (which is typical in horror), it also incorporates gun fights, chase scenes, (which is prevalent in action). GOTHIC HORROR

Features of the sub genre gothic horror include the supernatural, dungeons, extreme mysterious landscapes and frightening scenes.
