Nutrafeed products have been specifically formulated for fertigation (application through irrigation water) and foliar application. Fertigation provides maximum root uptake of the applied nutrients particularly when fed through trickle irrigation. Application through trickle enables the nutrients to be placed in the area of the most intensive root activity. Foliar fertilization is not a substitute for soil fertilization, but a supplement to it.

The Nutrafeed range is completely soluble and chloride free. Nutrafeed provides a complete range of nutrients necessary for optimal plant growth. Nutrafeeds are available in a wide range of formulations to precisely meet the needs of the various crop growth stages. This is achieved with the variations in N-P-K ratios along with Trace element supplementation.

Nutrafeed Soluble Fertilisers Analysis % w/w

Solubility

Highly soluble ingredients are used in Paton Nutrafeeds allowing at 20 Deg.C 25kg to dissolve in 100 Litres of water(25%w/v). Note the degree of solubility decreases with lower temperatures (ie. 1.5 kg at 10 Deg C).

Water quality plays an important role as the more dissolved salts in solution, the less room there is for the Nutrafeed to dissolve. If the water contains salts then Nutrafeed can only be added up to an Ec of 2ds/m.

Volume Change

For every 25kg of product added to the mixing tank, expect a volume increase of about 15 litres.

Compatibility

Nutrafeed products are compatible with additional Chelated trace elements. Do not mix Nutrafeeds with non-chelated micronutrients such as copper, zinc, iron and manganese sulphates. Do not mix calcium nitrate in the stock solution with Nutrafeeds as a residue of calcium sulphate or calcium phosphate will form. It is not recommended to mix Nutrafeeds with selective herbicides or copper fungicides. Consult Paton for further advice with specfic product compatibilities.

Foliar Application

Apply foliar sprays as evenly as possible to cover leaves and stems. Absorption of nutrients by leaves is greatest when they are turgid. It is therefore best to apply foliar fertilizers in the mornings or evenings. Do not apply foliars on dry leaves in hot weather.

Custom Blending

Paton can also produce custom blends for specific crop requirements. Through soil and leaf analysis your local Paton technical representative can advise and formulate custom blends specifically addressing your crop growth requirements.

Nutrafeed 7(10.3-2.6-33 + TE)

Nutrafeed 7 has been formulated with a higher level of Potassium for promoting fruit and flower development. Suitable for a variety of applications, where fruit and flower development is important. Uses premium quality ingredients, including Potassium Nitrate and Chelated trace elements.

Nutrafeed 12(12.3-15.1-11.6+TE)

The balanced N & K formulation with high P content is suited for crop establishment particularly for tuberous crops such as potatoes. This Nutrafeed gives vigorous root development.

Nutrafeed 19 (20.7-8.0-15.2+TE)

High Nitrogen and phosphorous in this Nutrafeed is suited for early crop development stages where root and shoot growth is important. Nutrafeed 19 is suited to crops such as tomatoes, capsicums and cucurbits.

Nutrafeed 20 (23.5-0.0-23.7+TE)

Suited to established turf during active growth periods. Apply to turf with water at a rate of 0.5-1kg/100m2. Nutrafeed 20 is also suited for application to native Australian plants which are phosphorous sensitive. Apply to potted plants in a dilution of 1-2 gms/L of water.

Nutrafeed 23 (23.4-4.0-18.0+TE)

Used during vegetative crop growth stages. Can be used on ornamental foliage plants including palms, fruit trees and vegetables including seedlings. Apply to fruit and vegetables as a foliar application of 4kg/1000L of water. Soil applications to Tomatoes, Egg plant and Capsicums is 1-5gm per plant per week, 5-7 days after transplanting. Soil applications to fruit trees can be used at the rate of 75-100gms/tree/week during the growing season.

Nutrafeed Kestrel (14.5-5.0-23.0+TE)

Lower nitrogen and higher potassium promotes flowering and enhances fruit development of vegetables and fruit trees whilst increasing sugar levels. Nutrafeed Kestrel can be applied to mature fruit trees at 75-100gms/tree/week during the fruit filling stage.

Nutrafeed Trace Elements

Contains all essential trace elements mainly in the sulphate form for complete micro nutrient supplementation of a wide variety of crops. Also contains nitrogen to enhance the uptake of trace elements. Consult your Paton representative or local agronomist for specific rates of application for your particular crop. Soil and crop deficiencies need to be considered to determine more specific rates of application through appropriate soil and leaf tests.
