HORTON PAVILIONS at HEFFRON PARK
Location: A private reservation-only park on the west side of Underwood
Street between Wright and Dan Patch avenues
Available: During the spring and summer
and during the State Fair, Aug. 26-Sept. 6, 2021
Includes:• Private, covered pavilion event space. Each pavilion is 60' x 40' and seats up
to 250 people. Seating capacity is 500 if both pavilions are rented.• 8' banquet tables and folding chairs; several layout options available.
Table coverings are not provided.• Use of surrounding grassy lawn area• One reserved vehicle parking space at Heffron Park for your event
coordinator to use during your event• Free nearby charter/group bus parking• Nearby restrooms• Access to standard electrical power outlets• On-site State Fair event manager• Cleanup and garbage removal• A bingo game and scavenger hunt are available for groups to print and use
as team-building and group fun on the fairgrounds; groups must provide their own prizes, copies of the games, pens, etc.
• Fair photo opp props are available on-site for your group to use. Our staff also can snap a photo of your group for your next newsletter article or social media post.
Rental Fee:$75 per hour per pavilion. Rental reservations are scheduled in one-hour increments between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. (Two-hour minimum rental is required if using catered food and beverage service.) Rental during the non-fair time is $350 per day for both pavilions.Food & Beverage Options:• If you would like catered food and beverage service or table linens for
your event, you may select one of three preferred providers.• “Fairborne Bucks” dining vouchers are available for purchase by
group event coordinators. Each voucher is valued at $5 and may be used toward purchases at approximately 40 State Fair food/beverage concession locations.
A La Carte Extras:• Audio/visual equipment, including projectors, screens and sound systems,
may be rented through our preferred production company.• Please note that admission to the State Fair is not included in your rental.
We can assist you in purchasing tickets for your group.• We cannot provide parking for your guests, but there are many ways to get
to the fair, including a free Park & Ride service – ask us for more info.• Bring your own decorations and table coverings to add pizzazz! (Sorry, we
don’t allow glitter, confetti or helium balloons; other restrictions may apply.)
Please note that all events at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds must submit a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan to the fair for review and approval and must follow the event and capacity guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Health and Office of the Governor that are in effect at the time of the event.

EVENT COORDINATORS AND CATERERS:
To access the Buford Avenue entrance to the fair, from Larpenteur Avenue on the north or Como Avenue on the south, travel to Cleveland Avenue North near the University of Minnesota St. Paul Campus. From Cleveland Avenue, go east on Buford, past the Continuing Education and Conference Center at 1890 Buford Ave., St. Paul, MN 55108. Present parking credential and fair admission tickets at Gate 18.
