Hosted IP: Product Requirements

An Internet connection must be provided by the customer to use as the access method for IP phone configurations. CAT 5 Ethernet cabling to each IP phone must also be provided by the customer.

We offer two options for Local Area Network (LAN) configuration:

• Option 1: Converged Voice & Data NetworksWorkstations “daisy chained” through the IP phones.

• Option 2: Separate Voice & Data NetworksOne cable for the workstation and one cable for the IP phone.

or conference room applications

 

Professional User This user would be ideal for those that still require significant features, including department

managers and remote workers tied to mobility and messaging

 

Reception User            This profile closely resembles the executive user described below, yet has the additional

requirements of managing calls for the entire office or for a single executive

With these additional requirements comes the need for features that provide access to and status of multiple employees, like Automatic Hold/Retrieve and Busy Lamp Fields

Executive User            This is the high-profile, extremely mobile user that needs additional advanced feature functionality

The user would likely require multiple phone lines and the visibility of shared line appearances, typically a requirement for administrative assistants and office managers
