How I Attracted My Audience

This made the text on the front page stand out more and also attracted the readers to the writing I wanted them to see.

I used a competition splash on my front cover which breaks up the page a bit because it is writing that has been put in a coloured box so it stands out from the text. This can attract my audience because not only is it eye catching but it also promotes the competition, like giving away a freebie and some people are interested when competitions are advertised on the front cover or contents page.

Because my audience is most likely to have a lot of free time and disposable cash I also put information about gigs and festivals in the magazine. This alone could be an attraction because of my audience type and them wanting to be in the right place at the right time.
