How To Make Funfetti Cake Making yummy food is super fun, and best of all you get to eat it after your done making it! Here is a great way to impress all your other pre-teen friends. At you next sleep over or just when your friends are coming over to hang out, try some of these great recipes. Everyone loves cake and who doesn’t love Funfetti cake! Dazzle your friends’ whit this colorful cake in a fun round cake pan complete with fancy drizzle icing and sprinkles! Below are tools, ingredients, and possible help you might need to make your Funfetti cake. Remember always make sure you ask anyone you are cooking/baking for if they have any type of food allergies to avoid having an unfortunate event occur.
TOOLS
Small measuring cup (1c.) Large measuring cup (4c.)
2 Rubber spatulas Scissors
Baking timer Medium mixing bowl
Mixer Oven
Microwave Bunt pan Hot mitt
Cake tester (toothpick) Round cake plate
INGREDIENTS
1 Box Funfetti cake mix
1 Can Funfetti icing regular style with sprinkles 1/3 C. Vegetable oil
1-1/4 C.Water 3 large eggs
Non-stick flour baking spray
Ok now that we have everything we need lets get started! PREPERATION: CAUTION Oven will become hot so make sure to use hot mitt(s) when handling anything in or out of the oven from this point, to prevent serious burns. Pre-heat oven to 350*F
1. Grease entire Bunt pan with Non-stick flour cooking spray
2. Open Funfetti cake mix box and remove cake mix

3. Cut top of cake mix pouch off with scissors
4. Pour contents of pouch into medium mixing bowl
5. Crack 3 eggs into medium mixing bowl
6. Pour 1/3 C. vegetable oil into medium mixing bowl
7. Pour 1-1/4 C. water into medium mixing bowl
8. CAUTION be careful to keep
fingers away from beaters to prevent injury.
9. Blend and beat all ingredients in medium mixing bowl for 2 minutes using mixer on low speed
10. CAUTION Although licking the beaters is yummy
consuming raw eggs can cause you to become sick! 11. After cake batter is blended use one rubber spatula to
clean excess cake batter from beaters
12. Using Spatula pour cake batter from medium mixing
bowl to Bunt pan, evenly distribute batter around pan with spatula
13. CAUTION ALTHOUGH LICKING THE
BEATERS IS YUMMIE, CONSUMING RAW EGGS CAN CAUSE YOU TO BECOME SICK!
BAKING:
14. Check oven to make sure it has pre-heated to 350*F
15. CAUTION use hot mits to handle pan while placing in oven to prevent injury. Place Bunt pan on middle rack to bake
16. Set kitchen timer for 37-41 minutes and bake until golden
brown Note: while cake is baking you can use this time wisely and help out Mom by cleaning up the tools that you have used so far. Clean up is a lot easier when you wash everything right away instead of letting everything get hard and sticky. And for those who are not washing by hand now is a great time to load everything neatly into the dishwasher for Mom.
17. CAUTION use hot mits to handle pan while removing Bunt pan from oven to prevent injury. Once cake has baked for 37 minutes remove cake from oven and insert cake tester (toothpick) into center of cake
18. Remove cake tester (toothpick) immediately if cake tester emerges without any
uncooked cake batter cake is finished, if batter appears place cake back into over and bake for additional remaining time
19. WARNING Do not place any hot pans directly onto counter tops, kitchen tables,
ect. This will possible result in burns of the surfaces. CAUTION use hot mits to
handle pan while placing in oven to prevent injury. Once cake is baked place Bunt pan on cooling rack or cutting board for 15 minutes to cool
20. After cake has cooled for 15 minutes, and Bunt pan is
cool to touch, take cake plate and place on open side of bunt pan flipping Bunt pan from bottom to top to release cake from pan onto cake plate
21. Once cake is free of Bunt pan and centered onto cake plate allow to cool an
additional 10 minutes ICING:
22. After additional cooling time is up open can of Funfetti icing and remove lid and metal cover
Note: Make sure the icing is regular style and not whipped style icing, whipped style icing will become to runny for the icing process.
23. Using last rubber spatula and large 4 C. measuring cup scoop all icing out of can into measuring cup
24. Place measuring cup into
microwave for 30 seconds on 100% power
25. Mix icing in large measuring cup so it becomes a nice
melted consistency able to be poured and not run off cake
26. Pour icing from large measuring cup onto top of cake
pouring evenly around entire top of cake, this will create a drizzle effect
27. Once all melted icing is poured onto cake open remaining sprinkle container from
icing can
28. Carefully and neatly sprinkle sprinkles around top of cake while icing is still warm so sprinkles hold
29. Once sprinkling is complete your cake is ready to be
