The Future:
For Food and More
What is:
It is a Partnership between many people and
organisations designed to grow strong
communities. At its core is Food….with the More
being the flesh that surrounds the core.
A Partnership arrangement that will be
transparent, that will build trust, which will
allow Sunnyfields to grow into a multi-faceted
partnership large enough to make large
positive sustainable changes from the bottom
up.
What is?
Clegg hails John Lewis as blueprint for British business
16 January 2012,
The John Lewis Partnership is being touted as the blueprint for the future of
British business in a speech made today (16 January) by Deputy Prime
Minister Nick Clegg.
Yes, without any doubt - Delivering:• People Profit – strong communties• Environmental Profit – +ve benefits• Monetary Profit - £
In otherwords the triple bottom line, people planet, profit
Do we need one?
What will it do?
It will grow an infrastructure which will result in large amounts of
the food in the UK being grown in the UK with consumers and
producers alike having some real ownership of the food chain.
This will deliver food security, build strong communities and a
robustness to be able to face challenges such as climate
change, energy challenges and economic challenges such as
we have today.
As food is so influential and interlinked to so many
issues such as health, water, energy prices, commodity
prices, packaging, waste, social structures, town centre
vitality, rural economies….and more – and with food at
the core of the partnership - with food production,
processing, distribution and selling as its “business”
engine - in combination with large scale partner
ownership to give economies of scale – it will succeed
Will it succeed?

A lead partner is a founding partner in a key
sector joining the partnership to develop and
build the first sites / business models. UK role
out is planned. Or just become a partner!
As a reminder:
Transparency, trust and collaboration will deliver real
sustainability and with not many things as pivotal or
more influential than food.
The Sunnyfields Partnership is the vehicle to deliver
sustainability on many fronts with food at its core.
