How to move address books/groups from GroupWise to Gmail

• Open GroupWise client (you cannot do this from WebMail.)• Open Address Book.• Select the group/book you would like to export example “Tablets.”• Right click, select export. See examples for Group and Book.

• Select Desktop as location to save file.• Give the export file a name• Select Save as type VCard (*.vcf)• Save file

• Open Gmail (Google, Sign in, Mail)• Go to Contacts• Select Import Contacts

• Click Browse button• Find file on Desktop• Click Open

• Once file is selected, click Import button.• This will create an import Group in Gmail.

• Select Imported group• Go to More and select Rename group

• Name group• Click OK• You are now done with that group/book.• Repeat as necessary!
