• Sit at a NEW TABLE with NEW PEOPLE every half day

• Think first individually, then discuss as a group• Don‘t be dominant - give everyone a chance• Encourage the quiet ones• NO SPEECHES, be to the point• NO COMPUTERS and PHONES during sessions

1. Demonstrate and share experiences and evidence to the effect that Systems Approaches in agriculture research are effective and contribute to livelihoods and natural resource management.

2. Share methods, tools and research approaches used in Systems Research.

3. Explore opportunities for new partnerships in Systems Research for development.

4. Identify opportunities for cross-system learning, and methods to do this effectively

1. Keynote papers: max 20 min presentation

2. Parallel Sessions: you can use power point (max 12-15 min – ca 15 slides max).

Be succinct, focus on the main and exciting points!

3. Parallel Session leaders: will guide the parallel sessionsRapporteurs will take notes

4. Facilitator: will guide the table group discussion and panel discussions in plenary
