Main uses

Operating mechanism should have reliable electrical and mechanical interlocking, in order to prevent concurrent access to the normal power and reserve power.When the voltage of detected any phase and all the phases of the normal power interrupt in ascheduled time. HYCQ5 will swithch to connect the load from normal power to reserve power, and when the normal power goes back to normal, it will automatically connect the load to the normal power(with phase failure protection function).Switch can setting switching voltage range when power fall according to user requirements.

HYCQ5 series double power automatic transfer switch is used in AC 50Hz, rated voltage below 690V two power supply system. It can make a automatic transfer between normal power and reserve power but without manual operation. The main structures of switch as drawing 2 showing◆

Drawing 2 N is the normal power, R is the reserve power. Qn is circuit breaker for the normal power, Qr is circuit breaker for the reserve power. Betwwen of them, there is Mechanical in terlock ing double protection. The controller consist of four parts: voltage identiry, phase failure protection, delay and control. Voltage identify and phase failure protection connect the input terminals of the normal power. When the normal power is normal, The switch work in automatic gearshift, no matter what state the Qr are. Qr is off and Qn is on to insure the normal power switching on the load. When the normal power has problem (such as loss of voltage, undervoltage, phase failure), in a certain period of time, The switch will make the load connect the reserve power from the normal power. When the normal power return to normal, then the switch will make the load connect the normal power.The molded case circuit breaker of the HYCQ5 switch can be 3

poles or 4 poles, can be automatic or manual operation and can realize the load changing-over automatically or compulsively. According to the demand of customers, the normal power indication, the reserve power indication, the normal power tripping indication and teh reserve power tripping indication all connect from external terminals which lead to control panel. For self put in without self restoring, the reset button can also be eduction from external terminal.This series automatic transfer switch plots simple, no need to draw up secondary connection diagram, so convenience project design greatly. It is recommended to use the design of drawing 3 annotation diagram. If the customer need the power instructions and circuit breaker closing instructions in outer of screen, please tell us when you order. Outer wiring diagram 4 shown below(indicator using AD1 AC220V specifications)

Key operation description

Control functions of the intelligent automatic controller

This dual-power transfer switch has "Manual" function for manual switching between the normal power and reserve power, and "Automatic" function for automatic switching between the two power supplies, as well as word display such as "Automatic", "Manual", "Normal power undervoltage", "Normal power overvoltage", "Normal power on", "Normal power tripping", Reserve power undervoltage", "Reserve power overvoltage", "Reserve power on", "Reserve power tripping".

When the normal and reserve power supplies supply power simultaneously, if the normal power voltage is higher than 115% or lower than 85% of the rated voltage, the dual-power switching system will judge it as fault and transfer to the

reserve power supply automatically, and display "Normal power overvoltage" or "Normal power undervoltage".When the normal and reserve power supplies supply power simultaneously, if the normal power voltage is higher than 115% or lower than 85% of the rated voltage, the dual-power switching system will judge it as fault and transfer to the normal power supply automatically, and display "Reserve power overvoltage" or "Normal power undervoltage".In normal power supply state, the circuit breaker trips due to voerload or short circuit, it will display "Normal power tripping".In reserve power supply state, the circuit breaker trips due to voerload or short circuit, it will display "Reserve power tripping".

Mode of auto-switch-in auto-restoring is suitable for power grid-power grid. The intelligent automatic controller carries out automatic switching between the two circuits of power supply (i.e. normal and reserve power supplies), power supplied by the normal power supply under normal condition, and transfer to the reserve power supply automatically after the preset time delay (adjustable) once the normal power is failed or is abnormal (any one group of voltage occurs overvoltage, undervoltage, no-voltage or open-phase), and return to the normal power supply automatically after the preset time delay (adjustable) when the normalpower supply recovers.

Mode of auto-switch-in without auto-restoring is suitable for power grid-power grid. The automatic controller with mode of auto-switch-in without auto-restoring carries out automatic switching between the two circuits of power supply (i.e. normal and reserve power supplies). It transfers to the other normally operated power supply after the preset time delay when one power supply is abnormal (any one group of voltage occurs overvoltage, undervoltage or open-phase), and will not restore automatically when the abnormal one recovers.

Power grid-generator, when it is used in the power grid-generating system, the automatic controller catrries out switching between the power grid and generator. When teh power grid voltage is lower than 85% of the rated voltage, the controller sends out power generation command (output by one group of NO NC contacts). when teh generating voltage reaches 85% of the rated voltage. it cuts off the load circuit

Function description for HYCQ5P automatic transfer switchAuto-switch-in, auto-restoring: when the normal power is in normal conditon, controller sends out command, normal power control circuit breaker closes and reserve power control circuit breaker opens, automatic transfer switching equipment is at state of (1, 0). When thenormal power is abnormal, controller will send out command, let the normal power control breaker open and reserve power control breaker close, and the automatic transfer switching equipment is in (0,1) state. When the normal power returns to normal, controllers will send out command, normal power control breaker closes, reserve power control breaker opens, automatic transfer switching equipment is in (1,0) state again.Auto-switch-in, without auto-restoring: when the normal power is in normal condition, controller sends out command, normal power control circuit breakeer closes and reserve power control citcuit breaker opens, automatic transfer switching equipment is at state of (1, 0). Automatic switch apparatus is consisted of switch apparatus and the control apparatus.

It is mainly applied for monitoring power circuit. It may automatically switch to the spare

power supply in case of power failure, realizing the shift between the two different

sources power supply.

Pressently, automatic switch apparatus is mainly used in important places such as grade

I and grade II power consumption in some buildings, extinguisher, emergency lighting,

and automatic power switch in somer infrastructure.

GLOQ1(G) series automatic switch apparatus is a product developed by SIQI Elecrtic

Co., Ltd. with self-owned patent technolgy. It is widely used in such distribution system

as power consumption under AC 380 50Hz and rated current of 32~400A. In addition, it

also may be used for occasional connection, breaker, and circuit isolation.

GLOQ1(G) series automatic switch apparatus has the advantages of high capacity in

power load, connection, switch, and anti-inter ference, multi-control, noise-free, and

GLOQ1(G) automatic switch apparatus has three control types

It is mainly for daily power supply, suitable for two power supply circuit, spare system. It

may actualize the spare power supply in case of main power failure and the switch will

automatically supply the power.

It is mainly for daily power supply, suitable for two power supply circuit, spare system.

It may actualize the spare power supply in case of main power insufficiency (delay

adjustable) and the switch will automatically supply the power. When the main power

restores, it may resume the main power (delay adjustable). The controller has auto input

without recover and mutual support.

Note: Switch time varies from 1.5 to 3 seconds according to the rated current.

voltage.

Please pay attention to the lead and out cable (3-phase products requires neutral

cable) in application of GLOQ1(G) automatic switch apparatus. 4-phase products

dose not allow public neutral cable and please confirm the earthing.

operation with the test button, manual or auto switch power.

GLOQ1B-IAutomatic Transfer Switching

GLOQ1B-I type product is a new generation of PC switches adopting coil instant

operation. Compared with the traditional switch which adopts motor drive for conversion,

it has the advantages of simple structure, fast conversion speed (time<80ms) and so on.

In addition, the main contact system is a SPDT (V-type) structure, which will not connect

with two powers at the same time even in the emergent situation.

The rated insulation voltage of the product is 690V, the rated frequency is 50/60Hz,

the rated voltage is 400VAC and the rated current is 10A-125A. The product is mainly

used for the conversion of emergency power supply system between two powers so

as to ensure the important load (for example, firefighting load) can continuously and

reliably operate. Mainly used for the nationally specified first-grade current, the product

is applicable to the occasions requiring continuous normal power supply such as high-

rise building, post and firefighting, coalmine and shipping, chemical metallurgy, industrial

production line, medical sanitation, military facilities, etc.

Ambient air temperature:

The upper limit shall be not more than +55℃;

The lower limit shall be not less than -25℃;

The maximum daily mean temperature shall be not more than +35℃ and the relative

humidity shall be nor more than 90%;

The user shall negotiate with the manufacturer if the ambient air temperature is more

than +55℃ or less than -25℃.

The altitude of the installation place shall be not more than 2,000m;

The pollution level of the installation place shall be III;

The installation classification shall be III;

The use classification of the main loop is AC-33B (6le) and the electric motor has

mixed load;

Installation conditions:The switch body can be vertically or horizontally arranged

and the installation gradient shall be not more than ±22.5°. The controller is panel

The intelligent controller can achieve automatic and manual

operation. The operator can set the operation mode through

Automatic Transfer Switching

When A-power becomes abnormal (shutdown or under-voltage,

over-voltage and loss phase), automatically switch to B-power

through the delay set by the system and at the same time

output the alarm signal (light indication + buzz prompt). When

A-power recovers, B-power continues to supply power without

automatically switching to A-power; then when B-power becomes

abnormal (shutdown or under-voltage, over-voltage and loss

phase), automatically switch to A-power through the delay set by

the system. (A-power and B-power are both commercial power)

A-power is both commercial power and primary power and

B-power supplies power to generator. When A-power becomes

abnormal (shutdown, under-voltage, over-voltage or loss phase),

the output the switch quantity signal to require starting the

generator. When the generator power recovers, automatically

switch to the generator power. When A power recovers,

automatically switch to A-power for power supply again and output

the switch signal to shut down the generator.

GLOQ1B-TAutomatic Transfer Switching

GLOQ1B-T type product is a new generation of PC switches adopting coil instant

operation. Compared with the traditional switch which adopts motor drive for conversion,

it has the advantages of simple structure, fast conversion speed (time<80ms) and so on.

In addition, the main contact system is a SPDT (V-type) structure, which will not connect

with two powers at the same time even in the emergent situation.

Ambient air temperature

The upper limit shall be not more than +55℃.

The lower limit shall be not less than -25℃.

The maximum daily mean temperature shall be not more than +35℃ and the relative

humidity shall be nor more than 90%.

The user shall negotiate with the manufacturer if the ambient air temperature is more

than +55℃ or less than -25℃.

The altitude of the installation place shall be not more than 2,000m.

The pollution level of the installation place shall be III.
