Enable/Disable: Individual Files Entire Groups Missing files can be removed from the listing by clicking the Draw Remove Missing Files menu item. Vector Style Soundings Settings Window Control the Display of: Soundings Track Lines Charts Targets Lat-Long Grid Projection Grid Planned Lines You can now control the sounding style and color from the screen icons in the HYPACK SHELL. AVI Rounding Rules Automatic Searching Automatic Searching adds new files to the Data Files and Project Files listings after returning from other programs. You can now enable or disable the Automatic Search for Data Files and/or Project Files We disable it when working with big files. Scan Project When Opened can cause delays when loading a big project at the start of the day. Catalog Files A Catalog File (*.LOG) is a listing of data files. Programs can process individual files or all files listed in a Catalog file. You can edit existing *.LOG files or create new ones! Export to Google Earth Right-click on the Project Files listing to save selected files to *.KMZ Supports: XYZ DXF Contour TIF Targets Matrix Export to Google Earth: Example Google Earth Archiving Files HYPACK 2016 Archiving Removes files from Project listing. Adds them to *.ZIP file and removes the files from the Project listing. User can create single or multiple archives. Archiving files saves space and speeds up re-draw times. You can restore individual files or all files by right-clicking on the archived file. Archive Folder An Archive sub-folder is created under the Project folder. The routine creates*.ZIP files that are standard compressed files. USER IDs HYPACK 2016 User IDs Each HYPACK installation can support multiple users. An Administrator can: Add new users. Change passwords. Restrict access of users to specific areas. Passwords Each user has an optional Password. The Administrator can create a new User ID and assign their initial password. A User can change their own password. Dont want a Password? Leave the field blank. Security Settings Access from Settings - Control Panel Security Settings You can quickly access the Settings window by hitting the F9 key. Security Administration Window Administrator: Add New Users Change Passwords Restrict Access of Users General Users Change Password Cannot Change Access Only the Administrator can add or remove a new user. You get the message box shown above. Project Log Created in each project folder. Automatically tracks actions of each user. Eliminating Passwords If the Administrator is the only user and does not have a password, it will go directly into HYPACK without displaying this window.
