I am Maria Shenie R. Gepitulan, I was born on October 5,1991 at Maria Cristina, Balo-I, Lanao del Norte.
Who am I?
I’m living a simple and happy life with my parents Mr. Medardo Gepitulan and Mrs. Polenie Gepitulan, together with my two siblings, Kent Jhon Gepitulan and Kevin Gepitulan.
I’ am the eldest in the family and I was the only girl. And since I’m the eldest I’m also responsible with my family.
We are currently residing at Maria Cristina, Balo-I, Lanao del Norte and almost 18 years of living in this place.
I’m almost familiar all the people living at Maria
Cristina, and my neighbors, friends,
classmates, and cousins called me in different nick
names like; shenay, shenang, sheneng, maria,
shana and shen. But I preferred to be called
shenie cause that’s what my parents called me.
I finished my elementary education at Maria Cristina Central School and I also finished my secondary education at Balo-I National High School where these schools are just located near our residence.
When I was in high school, I was planning to continue my studies, and I’m planning to enroll in MSU-IIT if I can pass the entrance examination.
After I graduated in high school, I am very thankful cause I passed the MSU-IIT entrance exam and I know lots of students also aimed.
My parents are also thankful and very supportive in me. They trust me and I don’t want to lose their trust, that’s why I must not waste their effort. They are my inspiration.
I enrolled in MSU-IIT in the field of Business Administration major in Business Economics.
At first, I feel it hard cause I don’t know yet who my classmates are and I don’t have anyone to talk to.
I feel lonely, but then as time goes by, I gained lot of friends and close friends and I already know my classmates. And now, I learned to be with them and I learned to love them.
I choose my field of specialization cause someday I want to put up my own business and I want to manage it well.
I know it’s not that easy to put up business but I'm aiming for it someday, not only for myself but also for my family and for the people who cares for me.
