Enter your email into the Email field and click Send and the i-care online carephones web service will
send an email with your password to you.
Dashboard The start page of i-care online carephones is the Dashboard. It contains the most important
information about the system and your products. The products that are listed in the not “Normal” list
is products that experience problems of some sort, products with following issues will be listed here:
Heartbeat missing level 1
Heartbeat missing level 2
All jobs that the user does is listed in the “User last job” list and all jobs that fails are listed in “Jobs
have failed” list.
The system message list contains messages from the system related to updates, upcoming events or
similar.

Here you can update first name, last name and email address. You can also update time zone.
Language setting is related to what language the i-care online webpage shall have.
Page default value refers to the number of items each list can contain.
Change password
Change password by pressing change password button under My settings. Enter the new password
and press Save.

Add new user
To add a new user of the organization, on the same level in the system as yourself or lower, select
User > Add New. Enter all credentials and press save to create a new user.

Search/Edit user
Search user by selecting User > Search/Edit. Add Name, User name and press search. Select a user in
the search result to edit.
Edit user details or sub organizations that user has access to by selecting corresponding edit link.

Sub Organization access
Remove or add access to sub organizations for the user. On the left shows all available sub
organizations for the user, and Assigned sub organizations shows all sub organizations that the user
has access to. In the picture below, user have access to all available sub organizations. Select sub
organization by clicking on the checkbox and press < to remove access to marked sub organization.
Mark available sub organizations on the left and press > button to add sub organization access to the
user.

Organization User
An Organization User belongs to an organization that is the buyer of the Products and also the end user of the System. Role Organization-admin An example for an Organization-administrator is a person that is responsible for the organizations users of the system, responsibility to know status about the devices and have the possibility to read device logs of products that are in the Organization. Assign organization devices to sub-organizations
Role Organization-change An example for an Organization-change is a person that is responsible for configuration of the carephone unit for a part or even the whole Organization, it is a person who has the role to install and handle the Products that are in the Organization. The main target for Role Organization-change is:
Program settings in carephone unit
Perform needed settings change for the Product at a distance
At a distance perform troubleshooting and start the process to fix a Product that is no longer working as expected
Role Organization-read An example for an Organization-read is a person that is responsible for monitoring carephone unit status and function. Organization-read is Responsible for responding to alarms or faulty unit behavior. Monitor and Change can be the same user. The main target for Role Organization-read is:
Monitor heartbeat functionality in carephone unit
Monitor status reports functionality in mobile units

Sub Organization
Add new Sub organization
Enter sub organizations name and change optional details and press save.
Heartbeat missing
The carephone is sending a heartbeat signal to i-care online carephone service continuously.
Carephone has default 2 min heartbeat. Heartbeat missing is an alert mechanism when the system
has not received a heartbeat from the carephone for a number of minutes.
Eg. If the carephone has a heartbeat interval of 2 minutes (Device heartbeat interval is set in device
settings). And the system is set to heartbeat missing level 1 = 15min, Heartbeat missing level 2 =
60min. If the system does not receive a heartbeat for 15 minutes, it will indicate HB missing level 1. If
the system does not receive an HB for 60 minutes, it will indicate Heartbeat missing level 2
Product
Search/edit product
To search and edit product details, navigate to product > Search/edit product in the menu on the left.
Search for one or many criteria’s and press search. Select product by pressing the S/N id number of
the product you want to edit or update.

Product information
Product information includes all information of which organization the product is assigned to, its
unique device and SIM ID and current status.
End user information
Press edit on the right hand side. Update each parameter and press save.
Deactivate product
Press deactivate product, confirm by pressing yes on the control question. Programming of product is
not available when product is deactivated.
Activate product
Press activate product. This action will activate the product.
Update firmware
This function is not available to everyone, for more information contact system administrator.
Remote Programming
Click on “Remote Programming” and wait for the parameters to load from the device. Click on the
checkbox on the left side and enter value for optional parameters that should be programmed then
click on “Save” (for more information check Appendex 1).
Remote programming with template
Template is created by organizations supplier, contact supplier for more information.
Product logs
Press Get Log to update the log.
Product history
Product history list contain all user triggered events and result of these from ICOc to the device, eg.
Read settings, write settings etc. Create a manual history entry by selecting Create Event. Add title,
description and start date/time. Press save

Assign/Unassign
Chose a sub organization were you want to assign or unassing products. Available products that are
unassigned to any sub organization is shown on the left window. Products that are assigned to a sub
organization are shown on the right. Select one or many products and assign them to the sub
organization by pressing the > button. Unassign products by selecting and press < button.
Press save to save changes.

Notification
Add new notification
Select Notifications > Add new to create a notification that will be sent when a certain event has
been triggered. Please see chapter “Event types” for list of supported notification triggers.
Email notification
An email notification will send an email to your selected email address.
Direct – will send the email direct when the event happens
Collection – will store all events and send them collectively at a specific time interval. Eg. Every 60
minutes
Event types
Allows you to select what event type that shall trigger a notification. Following event types are
supported:
Heartbeat missing level 1
Heartbeat missing level 2
Heartbeat Restored
Power Error
Power Restored
ETH Loss
ETH Restored
System messages
Job Failed
Eg. If Heartbeat missing level 1 is selected, a notification will be sent to an email with information
about devices that have heartbeat missing level 1. This can be sent directly when the device gets
heartbeat missing level 1 status (direct) or it can wait and collect all events during a time period and
send it together in one message (collection).

When the configuration has been successfully uploaded to ICO, the tab “IP Settings” is displayed by
default. Click on the checkbox for “CareIP GSM-number” and enter phone number of the sim card
that is used for the device.
Then select the “SIP Settings” tab and click on checkbox “SIP – Display name” and “SIP – User name”
and enter the display name and user name for SIP. If you are unsure on what to enter here you can
just enter the device serial number in both fields.
Then proceed to the “Alarm Management” tab and click on the checkbox for “Contact 1” to make the
“Edit” button clickable and click on it to open the contact 1 window.
Click on the drop down menu and chose protocol SCAIP-GSM.

Enter the ARC's phone number, domain name or ip address and registered id in the ARC. Possible
that users also must be specified. If not use scaipcaretech. Then click on “OK”.
Keep the check box checked for all the parameters that we are going to program and click on "Save".
Now we just have to wait for the programming to be done so we can make a test alarm and verify
that everything is working as expected. When the job is done, you can quickly and easily see it on the
page dashboard or on the product details page for the product. When the job is done, the Job Status
should have changed from “Has job in queue “ to “No Job In Queue”.
