Types of MembershipIndividual MembershipIndividual members pay $35 each year, vote, holdelected office, receive a membership certificate,yearly edition of the Journal of Child and YouthCare Work, and discounts on the following:
• the International Child and Youth CareConference (held every 3 years);
• acycp sponsored professional developmentevents; and
• certification testing fees when applying forProfessional Certification (CYC-P)offered bythe national Child and Youth Care CertificationBoard.
Organization/Agency MembershipA state organization, agency, or group pays yearlydues of $300 and the Organization (not individualmembers) receives an Organization/AgencyMembership Certificate, three copies of theJournal of Child and Youth Care Work, and multi-staff discounts when testing, at the InternationalConference, and at other acycp sponsoredprofessional development events.
Sponsor/Affiliate MembershipAn individual, group, or organization thatsupports acycp's mission and helps tounderwrite acycp's programs as a Sponsor/Affiliate member pays $1,000 yearly andreceives a membership certificate, threecopies of the Journal of Child and Youth CareWork, and multi-staff discounts whentesting, at the International Conference, andat other acycp sponsored professionaldevelopment events.
eye State Professional AssociationMembershipCYCState Professional Associations can offerindividual membership in acycp and benefitsto its own members by paying a yearly $5per member fee. Each association memberbecomes a member in acycp, can vote andhold office, receives the same discounts asIndividual members, including a discountwhen buying the Journal of Child and YouthCare Work. The Professional Association(not individual members) receives amembership certificate.
