ICEBERG ECOThe Economic Alternative
A well-known and shapely waste container serves as the column of the ICEBERG ECO underground system. Therefore, the system is immediately recognised as a waste collection facility. The aperture is at a comfortable and user-friendly height. The system can be equipped with a multitude of optional apertures and locks available for the worldwide established SULO bins.
COMPONENTSMany unattractive and large waste containers blemish the ambient. Where space is limited, implementing a separate collection of different types of waste requires effective and economic collection systems. ICEBERG ECO’s underground container has a capacity of up to 5 m³, enabling economic and less frequent collection.

Lifting systemThe lifting system is not integrated in the column. This provides easy access and saves maintenance costs.
ColumnThe column can be easily disengaged from the lifting system, providing access to a maintenance entry.
Walk-on platformThe walk-on platform is made of galvanised aluminium chequer plate with a thickness of 5/7 mm.
Concrete CasingThe concrete casing consists of concrete units in accordance with DIN 4034. These units were originally designed for water management and are available throughout Europe. This can result in a substantial reduction of transport costs.
Safety deviceSafety is paramount when using underground systems. During emptying, a safety fence automatically rises from the concrete casing to prevent people from falling into the pit.
Many options are available for the collection of different types of waste and recyclables, e.g. for glass, packaging, paper, textiles as well as domestic or organic waste.
All common lifting systems are available: 1-, 2- or 3-hook systems or Kinshofer Mushroom.
A container with two inner compartments and two columns is available for the separate collection of different types of waste, e.g. white glass and brown glass. For easy recognition, the two columns can be supplied in different colours.
ContainerThe hexagonal collection container is made of high-quality galvanised steel and guarantees a long service life.
