Feature Overview
The ability to save shopping carts gives your shoppers the freedom to manage their shopping, instead of feeling pressured to either check out or discard the transaction. They may save carts and come back to checkout when desired.
Instead of abandoning shopping carts and costing the merchant valuable revenue, a shopper can save his cart for future reference. The presence of saved carts in his web store account is a reminder of his intent and increases chances of actual purchase.

Allow save cart option at customer and customer class levelThe CSR provides the save cart facility to his customers via simple configurations in the Manager Panel. Setups are provided at the Customer Class and individual Customer level for the same.

Save a shopping cart from a floating cart Shoppers browse and add items to a shopping cart, which can be saved by clicking on the ‘Save Cart’ button and naming the cart. When logged in, the ‘Save Cart’ button appears as ‘My Cart.’ It is possible to email the saved cart to oneself, rename it, or even discard the existing cart and load a fresh cart via this menu. Even guest and anonymous customers can save their shopping cart, but would need to create an account on the web store to access the saved cart at a later time and date.

Save cart from shopping cart screenAlong with saving a cart from a floating cart, shoppers can also save their carts from the shopping cart screen. It is possible to navigate to other saved carts, rename the current cart or discard existing cart and start fresh from this screen.

Access saved carts when required Shoppers can easily access their saved carts via their self-service account on the web store. It is possible to merge carts, proceed to checkout and even delete them as per the shopper’s requirements.

Merge saved shopping cartsShoppers may browse the web store and save multiple shopping carts at different points in time. These different shopping carts can be merged into one shopping cart via the customer’s web store account. The merged cart would be available for checkout, and if the shopper wishes to continue shopping, all merged items would be displayed in the floating cart. The old cart would continue to be retained for future reference.

Save carts across multiple web storesIf a merchant provides multi-channel browsing across his multiple web stores, then the shopper can create and save a single shopping cart with items from multiple stores. The cart would be accessible from either of the customer’s web store accounts and he can merge multiple saved carts or proceed to checkout as per his convenience.
