Combining activities, excursions and information classes, the IMI Summer Programme is designed to give prospective students a true taste of what it’s like to study at one of Switzerland’s leading hospitality and culinary institutes. Programme Highlights - Airport pickup/drop-off on arrival and departure - Welcome pack - 13 nights accommodation on campus (twin sharing room - private toilet & shared shower) - Meals provided on campus (breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Friday; brunch and dinner Weekends). - 15 hours English or German group classes per week - 5 hours hospitality/culinary classes per week - All course materials included - Wifi throughout campus - Use of the campus gym, library and other facilities - 2 full-day & 4 half-day activities/excursions - Certificate of attendance - Scholarship award on completion of programme (see below for full details) Programme Dates The programme commences on Monday 22nd July 2019. Check-in on campus is possible on Sunday 21st July with check-out on the afternoon on Saturday 3rd August. Programme Requirements Students must be at least 15 years of age by the commencement date of the programme. Programme Costs The cost per participant is 2,750 CHF. Visas/Flights/Insurance Upon receipt of full payment, IMI can provide a visa invitation letter where required. Flight tickets and health/accident/travel insurance are the responsibility of the student. Scholarship The 1,000 CHF award is redeemable against the tuition fee of a 22-week IMI hospitality or culinary programme in 2019 or 2020.

For those students who need to apply for a tourist visa to come to Switzerland, please note that upon receipt of the payment, IMI can issue a visa support letter. Please check the requirements for the visa application with your nearest Swiss embassy or contact us for advice.

In such an event alternatives will be offered or a full refund of fees paid will be made. All health and accident insurance coverage for the duration of the programme is the responsibility of the participant. IMI accepts no liability for accidents occurring during the student’s stay on campus or on one of the activities/ excursions attended as part of the programme.IMI shall be entitled to use cinematographic or photographic material taken during the programme for publicity materials.

For cancellations received less than 60 days before course start date, no fees will be refunded. In the case of a visa application being rejected, all fees paid will be refunded minue a 250 CHF administration charge.
