What is Imperial Plus?
The aim of Imperial Plus is to:•Help students clearly identify the skills they gain through involvement in our activities •Recognise the value of these skills and how they enhance their employability•Aims to be relevant and accessible to all volunteers •Enables the Union to formally acknowledged the contribution volunteers make to in delivering our services

1.Skills self assessment ranking 1-102.Complete all mandatory training 3.Log 100 hours volunteering 4.Participate in 4 Introduction to… workshops5.Produce a short assignment reflecting how learning outcomes have been implemented in volunteer role – see Imperial Plus Self Assessment Framework for guidance
Imperial Plus Volunteer Accreditation Choose from six skill based workshops:
•An introduction to…effective team working skills
•An introduction to…communication skills
•An introduction to…planning & organisation skills •An introduction to…persuasion & negotiation skills •An introduction to…problems solving skills
•An introduction to…skills for personal effectiveness
Imperial Plus Volunteer Qualification Apply at the beginning of the summer term:
•ILM Level 5 Management of Volunteers•Must have achieved Volunteer Accreditation •Must have a Volunteer position lined up for 2014-15 where the Qualification will be utilised•Applications open summer 2014
