Reading logs are due May 2nd. Please make sure your child’s first and last name is on the log. Please note the new format of the reading log! Students need to complete a summary and have a parent initial each night!! Math: Please complete 20 minutes of First in Math nightly! Reading: Please write a 2-3 complete sentences summary of your nightly reading! Book Clubs: Please check your child’s book bag for book club homework. It varies per book club. Please remind your child to bring his or her materials daily for book club. Specials Rotation (4/25-4/29) Monday No specials Tuesday Computer Lab Wednesday Library Thursday PE (wear tennis shoes) Friday Music This week in: Word Study: we will study prefixes Mentor Sentence: descriptive language Language Arts Skills- we will study reflexive pronouns (himself, herself, ourselves, etc) Reading Workshop- we will continue unit of study on comparing and contrasting two texts using fiction and nonfiction texts Writing Workshop- We will be working on opinion writing focusing on opening, body, and closing.
