While the Narval CC is custom-made for each patient, there are times when patients are more sensitive to the retention or pressure of an MRD. If you would like to relieve minimal retention on specific areas of the appliance, we have included an adjusting and polishing bur for your convenience.

Use the pink bur for simple adjustments:• Consider adjusting the appliance chairside, making small incremental adjustments and checking the device on the model or the patient along the way.• Pay attention to the areas that engage the undercuts (i.e., gingival margin and interdental spaces) to avoid removing too much material.• A scalpel works well for removing flash created from grinding on the appliance.
