6th Grade Basketball News!
The Franklin 6th grade girls' basketball team had two games this past weekend. In the first game they were defeated by Lincoln Magnet/Ball Charter 12-8. Corrine was the leading scorer with 6 points while Auveona contributed 2.
The Lady Falcons came back with intensity to win game 2, however. They defeated Grant by a score of 19-10. This time Auveona was the leading scorer with 10 points, followed by Corrine with 4 points, Claire with 3 points and Neveaha with 2. Congratulations on a fantastic 2nd game effort on defense and rebounding by the Lady Falcons.
The next game will be against Jefferson on Saturday at 10 AM at Franklin. Good luck Lady Falcons!
FMS - 6th Grade Boys’ Tryouts
Tryouts will be Friday, Sept. 20 from 5:30 - 7:00 and Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 5:30 - 7:00. Students must go home after school and come back at 5:30.
