SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT DAY Please be reminded this Friday is a School Development Day and students do not attend. STUDENT COUNCILLORS 2018 We would like to congratulate all students who nominated for 2018 Student Councillor. The speeches were well rehearsed and reflected the strong leadership qualities our students adhere to at NPS. The following students have been elected as Student Councillors for 2018; Abby Dewing, Claire Conlan, Maddie Andrews, Dekoda Turner, Lilli Beresford, Regan Hoysted, Rhys Hardie, Chelsea Bradford, Lexi Ashton and Natalie Bradford. We would like to congratulate these students and are certain that they will all be great leaders in our school.
NETWORK CELEBRATION EVENING This Thursday Narrogin Schools Network will be conducting its annual Network Celebration Event. As part of the celebration certificates of appreciation are awarded to staff who have exhibited the following characteristics; leading and facilitating, motivating, support and inclusivity of others, innovative in practice, contributing to the learning culture of the school, capacity building of staff, students and community and improving student learning.
We are pleased to announce that we have 7 nominations for staff members from Narrogin Primary School.
REPORTS
This semester we are making reports available to be collected by parents from class teachers after school on Tuesday 12 December. This change has come about to ensure the privacy of students. Any uncollected reports will be posted in the afternoon of Thursday 14 December to parents.

The last issue of Bookclub for the year is due tomorrow (23 November). There are about 20 items for $3 and under and a huge variety of gift ideas. Narrogin Primary School P&C News
Chappy's Chat
"A time for patience"
Everyone is busy at this time of year as teachers begin reporting, swimming lessons for the little ones are happening and everyone is starting to be overwhelmed with what needs to be done. Please take the time to stop and gather your thoughts. Have some "me" time. It is a time to remember that I am available as your support person and, if you need, contact me through the office, class teacher or pop into Chappy's Café any morning before 9 for a cuppa and a chat. Mrs Wilkie
Our Uniform Shop will be closed this Friday for the School Development Day but you can leave an order form at the school office at any time. Chaplain Desi is in desperate need of second hand uniforms especially smaller sizes for new students starting in Pre Primary in 2018 so instead of hanging in your pjs all Friday maybe you can clean out the kids' drawers/cupboards/wardrobesH or better still get them to do it and you put your feet up!
Crazy Hair Disco
The hair may have been completely crazy but the kids who attended were just there to bust some moves and nothing else. We had over 100 students attend and there were just as many Senior students as Juniors which was fabulous to see. I love every hair on the head of Sarah Munns, Stacey Shepherd, Mel Sprigg, Jacinta Rus-sell, Alison Johnson, Kylie Bradford, Gloria Radford, Kaitlin Warner, Sarah Hawksley, Bec Hamilton, Julie-Anne Grout, Sarah Corner, Jane Eames (P & C official photographer), Jodee Young, Kelly Fullston, Lisa Bradford, Mel Browne, Chris Pettit, Kristie Nottle and the wind beneath our balloons Stacey and Nick Hobson along with Mr Harrison and Ms Seward's mad DJing skills and Ms Morrow's dancing/air guitar licks and other staff mem-bers who went above and beyond the call of duty to Macarena and ensure we all stayed happy and safe. Tyler and Fletcher worked hard on the music system, several senior students helped out at the Junior Disco and Mark the Gardener lit up our club, hanging fairy lights etc. There were some amazing hair dos and if you head to our Facebook page (Narrogin Primary School P & C) you will see some photos thanks to Jacinta Russell and Jane Eames.
P & C Thank You Sundowner
On Tuesday 12th December from 4-6pm we would like to thank each and every member of our school commu-nity who have assisted our P & C this year. We have been involved in many events this year and I will attempt to post everything on our Facebook page later but remember the Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day Breakfasts, the Talent Night, the Yellow Pages phone book delivery (some people still scarred), Narrogin Agricultural Show May St gate entry, Blue Light Disco catering, SunSmart Narrogin Triathlon, Sheep Manure deliveries, Faction and Interschool Sports Carnivals and every day Canteen operations? I'm not even sure this is a complete list but my point is there have been many wonderful people who have given their time and hearts to support us and you've earned a hamburger and a fun evening. We would love to see you and your family and chairs/rugs and drinks (we will have cool drinks for sale) at the P & C Shed near the school oval. Please call or text Filipa on 0407 471 097 for catering purposes. Mrs Filipa Shepherd
