Raja Ampat Pupua

Located off the northwest tip of Bird's Head Peninsula on the island of New Guinea, in Indonesia's West Papua province, Raja Ampat, or the Four Kings, is an archipelago comprising over 1,500 small islands, cays, and shoals surrounding the four main islands of Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo, and the smaller island of Kofiau. The Raja Ampat archipelago straddles the Equator and forms part of Coral Triangle which contains the richest marine biodiversity on earth.

Raja Ampat is considered the global center of tropical marine bio-diversity and is referred to as The Crown Jewel of the Bird's Head Seascape, which also includes Cenderawasih Bay and Triton Bay. The region contains more than 600 species of hard corals, equaling about 75 percent of known species globally, and more than 1,700 species of reef fish. Compared to similar-sized ecosystems elsewhere in the world, this makes Raja Ampat's biodiversity the richest in the world.

Itinerary Day 1 - Jakarta Arrival

Upon arrival at Jakarta Airport, our guide will meet clients then drive to Sheraton Bandara Hotel for accommodation.

Day 2: Jakarta - Sorong - Mansuar Island - Raja Ampat Dive Lodge

Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Sorong. Upon arrival at Domine Edward Osok Airport of Sorong, you will be met and transferred to harbor for sharing transfer which is available on on Friday and Saturday*. Then transfer by speed boat to Raja Ampat Dive Lodge. Upon arrival Check into hotel. Lunch and dive briefing. 1 x dive in Yennuba or other site. Dinner will be served at hotel. (L,D)

Day 3 - Diving Breakfast at hotel. 4 x dives at Blue Magic, Mioskon Reef,

South Kri and Raja Ampat Dive

Lodge Jetty (night dive).

Accommodation at Raja Ampat Dive Lodge.

Day 4 - Diving

Breakfast at hotel. 4 x dives at Sardine Reef, Cape Kri, Kuburan Reef and Raja Ampat Dive Lodge Jetty (night dive). Accommodation at Raja Ampat Dive Lodge. (B,L,D).

Day 5 - Diving

Breakfast at hotel. 4 x dives at Chicken Reef, Friwen Wall, Jalan Masuk and Raja Ampat Dive Lodge Jetty (night dive). Accommodation at Raja Ampat Dive Lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 6 - Diving

Breakfast at hotel. 4 x dives at Manta Sandy, Arborek Jetty, Yenbekwan Jetty and House Reef (night dive).

Day 7 - Diving Breakfast at hotel. 4 x dives at West Mansuar, Sawandarek Jetty, Cross Over and House Reef (night dive).

Day 8 - Mansuari Island

Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure. Accommodation at Raja Ampat Dive Lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 9 - Raja Ampat Dive Lodge - Sorong - Jayapura - Wamena

After early breakfast, we transfer you to Sorong by speedboat sharing available on Friday and Saturday then proceed to airport for your flight to Jayapura. (B)

Morning arrivals of Jayapura airport, met by Papua Adventure’s guide and assist for your noon flight to Wamena, arrival at Wamena transfer an hour to resort (may stop at local market to buy some fruits). Located of resort at Syopkosi village, check in and a rest will be free program or walk – enjoy panorama from resort. Overnight at Baliem Valley Resort. Dinner at resort. (B,L,D)

Day 10 - Kurima DistrictI - The Southern of Baliem Valley

Breakfast at hotel and get into car for drive 1,30 minutes passing Wamena town to southern Baliem Valley, start you’re a day trekking with passing sweet potatoes gardens and enjoy t he scenery of Baliem George, meet local people who live near Baliem river and learn their life and cultures. (simple lunch box will be provided). Afternoon back to car where waiting at somewhere and drive back to resort, arrive at resort getting late afternoon and have dinner at resort. (B,L,D)

Day 11 - Jiwika (Dani Ceremonies of Pig feast and Dance)

Breakfast and today driving an hours to Jiwika village (North of Baliem Valley), see the Mummy at Sumpaima village and next walk to other village for 10 minutes for join and enjoy the Dani Ceremonies of Mock battle and Pig feast. You will see how they make fire traditionally, kill a pig with bow and arrow and cook them into the hot-burned stone with vegetables and sweet potatoes, the performance will be held about 4 – 5 hours (simple lunch box will be provided), after the local people cook their traditional food, the chief of village will serve their food like pig’s mean + sweet potatoes. Afternoon return to resort and get coffee / tea while waiting your dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 12 - Wamena - Jayapura

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for your flight back to Jayapura. Arrival at Jayapura airport, directly drive to Sentani lake and take a boat to explore the Sentani lake, see the life of people who live in the island and surrounding of lake. Lunch serve at Yogwa lake side restaurant. If time still permit could continue to see the anthropology Museum (open Mon-Sat 08,00-14.30, Sunday and public holidays are closed). Afternoon may go to local art shop to buy some arts from Papua. Check in to hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 13 - Jayapura - Bali

Breakfast at hotel and free program till time for transfer to airport for your flight to Bali. Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai Airport, our guide will meet clients then drive to Griya Santrian for accommodation. (B)

Day 14 - Bali

Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure. Accommodation at Griya Santrian Hotel. (B)

Day 15 - Bali Out Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for flight to next destination.(B)
