New Product

SPEC2.5-10 solar bonding lugs are designed to bond the frames and mounting structures of solar photovoltaic systems in accordance with NEC® requirements. These lugs are corrosion-resistant and galvanic ally compatible with copper grounding conductors and aluminum photovoltaic module frames.

The solar bonding lugs are supplied with the required mounting hard-ware and are easy to install. The stamped lug has a lay-in feature that allows the posi-tioning of the grounding conductor along multiple frames prior to securing the wire. In addition, the same hex head power driver can be used to install the lug to the frame and secure the wire into the lug.

EK16 REBAR EARTHING SOLUTION

For Earthing of Rebar As required under the new AS/NZS 3000:2007 Wiring Rules. Clause 5.6.2.5 This UL listed product is approved for the earthing of Conductive Reinforce-ment within concrete slabs of walls or floors within bathrooms and wet areas.

EASY INSTALLATION Step 1: Place the EK16 clamp on the rebar. Step 2: Tighten the fastening screws to ensure a secure connection to the rebar. Step 3: Remove insulation from earthing cable and secure to EK16 clamp in the location shown using the setscrew. Step 4: Route earthing cable through conduit, and secure to rebar with cable ties. Optional: Seal connection with Zinc or Galvanizing spray paint.

RGB70 EARTH BOND

Prefabricated earth bonds are for connecting earth points to steel reinforcing bar. The steel rod of the bond is arc welded to construction steel before pouring concrete. The RGB70 has a tail of 70 sq mm conductor connected to a 12mm steel bar. The standard tail length is one metre, however other tail lengths can be supplied if specified at time of order

HEAT SHRINKABLE GENERAL PURPOSE FLEXIBLE POLYOLEFIN

GPT is rated for continuous operation from -55oC to 135oC, and up to 300oC for short durations.

GPT has excellent heat ageing and oxidative stability properties.

This polyolefin represents the best balance of properties for general purpose use. Shrink ratio is 2:1,

it is advisable to select the largest size tube that will shrink on to the object. The typical applications

for GPT-135 include wire markings, colour coding, insulation or lightweight harness jacketing.

Mark-ability is an important feature of this general purpose material.

GRADE MWS

MWS is a quick shrinking, medium wall, cross linked, semi rigid polyolefin tubing with large expansion ratios. The MWS sleeves are designed to insulate & encapsulate electrical connections, voltage rated up to 1 kV. The inner hot melt liner simultaneously melts & flows during the shrinking process to environmentally seal a connection or splice. The adhesive bond develops excellent peel strength, depending upon substrate material composition. These sleeves provide seals with a variety of synthetic sheath materials & most metals including lead, aluminium & steel.

Adhesive lined Thermo-fit ES2000/1000 heat shrinkable tubing is specifically designed to meet automotive industry requirements for environmental sealing & electrical insulation of automotive wire splices, terminations & components. ES2000/1000 tubing has an outer jacket of radiation-cross linked, semi-rigid polyolefin. mechanically tough, the jacket provides strain relief & abrasion protection of wire splices & mechanically sensitive components. The inner layer of the tubing has a unique hot melt adhesive, specially formulated to adhere to all major types of automotive wire insulation & to perform well at an extended temperature range. Because ES2000/1000 tubing has a high shrink ratio, only a few sizes are needed to cover a wide range of splice & component di-ameters.
