Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that once
was lauded for its versatility, recognized for its heat resistance, tensile strength and insulating properties and used for everything from fire-proof vests to home and commercial construction. It was woven into fabric, and mixed with cement.
Its properties were so desired that the United States military mandated its use in every branch of service. Asbestos was a perfect blend to make things better – except it was highly toxic, too.
Today asbestos is a known cause of mesothelioma
cancer, is banned in more than 50 countries, and its use has been dramatically restricted in others.
Asbestos abatement is a very important yet dangerous task, ruled by strict policies throughout Europe, America and many other countries.
Working environments have to be sealed and workers have to be equipped with specific overalls and machines.
It can be made through different tecniques and technologies such as:
Hand Held
equipment
Shotblasting Scarifying,
grinding
All of the technologies for asbestos abatement are engineered to be used with industrial vacuum cleaners.
These machines are vital in order to ensure workers and evironment safety, collecting and filtering the hazardous dusts which can then be efficiently disposed of.
To provide the best answers to its clients ( both contractors and OEM) Mastervac has engineered and built a wide range of industrial vacuum cleaners with high filtration standards( HEPA, class H), very high airflow and Longopac® safe collection system.
