General Application process for IRO internships • Students submit application to IRO • IRO invites shortlisted students for first interview
1. Application
• IRO conducts first interview • IRO nominates selected students for company selection
2. First Interview
• Company conducts second interview 3. Second Interview
(for Internships)
• IRO informs students of selection outcome • Successful students accept internship offer
4. Selection and Acceptance
• Students arrange visa, flight, accommodation, travel insurance and apply for a Leave of Absence if required
• IRO conducts pre-departure session • Students embark on internship!

General Requirements (applies to all programmes)
• Must be full-time NUS undergraduates. • Must complete programme before degree conferment date.
Programme-Specific Requirements (refer to each programme’s webpage for details)
International Internships (i-Intern) • Job-scope will require specific skills and experience. • Submit a copy of latest resume when applying. • Completion of 2 to 3 years of study may be required for certain programmes.

How do I apply ? • Applications for internships can open anytime during the semester.
• Applications for summer typically open in December – February.
• Most i-SPs are “direct application” to the host university.
• For i-Intern (internships): • Submit application (including resume / CV) to IRO. • Attend an interview with IRO; best candidates will be nominated to internship host. • Attend interview with internship host.
• For i-RAPs: • Submit application with faculty referral letters to IRO. • Host university / faculty member will review your application.
