What I Learned

•I learned that Kindergarten is the base of literacy and further learning.

•Downfalls to the job are the minimal pay and learning about neglect and abuse of children in their homes.

•The ability to make relationships, kindness and patience are important skills to have.

What I learned

Education

•A bachelors degree is required to become a kindergarten teacher.

•It is highly recommended that one gets a masters degree before becoming a kindergarten teacher to get better pay.

Is this the career for me?

•This is not a career that I think I want to pursue because I don’t have enough patience to be a teacher.
