Rene Hartmann has held corporate leadership roles in innovation, business creation, marketing and sales for over 20 years. As CIO, he headed a 75 strong Innovation team responsible for a total business of Eu4b, was responsible for many 'industry first' products, won industry accolades and awards and initiated various 'technical discovery' projects. He drove multiple consumer insight programs, consumer after sales programs and did the market introduction for many products and categories. As General Manager, he drove business in a lean fashion, focusing on financial parameters, while balancing the needs for integral and comprehensive marketing needs, leveraging internal and external stakeholders. Through his global exposure, Rene has lived in Europe, USA, Central America and Asia, and created many highly successful global adverting campaigns that ran for multiple years. Through his experience in various industries, from 'Corporate' to 'Start-up', Rene knows that no two business ventures are the same, and each activity needs to be judged on its own merit. Therefore, he views businesses through a portfolio lens with corresponding parameters and criteria. He joined Gold Peak Industries as Product Creation Director and later VP of Marketing APac, Zetex/Diodes Inc., and GM Sales and Marketing APac & ME in Traxon/Osram of Siemens. His last capacity was GM of GE Lighting, Greater China located in Shanghai, China. Patrick is an all rounded, experienced and sagacious executive with a passionate aptitude for creative problem solving and critical analysis with meticulous attention to detail. With almost 3 decades of experience working in reputable MNC’s, Patrick acquires a wide range of expertise covering global, B2C and B2B sales, strategic key account, business development and operations managements. This enables him to hold strong leadership skills and the integration of working with people from various disciplines. Through these decades of experience, Patrick has gained excellent skills in managing multi-cultural and cross regional teams that spread all over in Asia esp. Greater China, Americas, Europe, Pacific, India and Middle East.
