•Used to draw freehand using a hand held pointer on a board

Track Pad• User moves finger over plate to control

• A screen with sensitive areas on it

• The user presses these areas to input instructions

• Used to control actions usually when playing a game

• Used to enter printed text or graphics

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Software is used to scan text

• Used to take photos and store them digitally for transfer onto a computer

• Used to record moving pictures and store them (on videotape, or a DVD, or a memory card)

•Used to allow sound to be input

• Small digital video camera used to capture and send images/video across the internet

User wears a headset and data gloves to interact with a digital (pretend/virtual) world. The input device is the data gloves.
